We very much enjoyed our stay at Pasithea. The rooms were updated and spotless, with beautiful views. This is our second stay in Folegandros and this might be our favorite place. We would stay here again and again. Each morning Christine (one of the family owners who manages the hotel) serves a breakfast buffet consisting of hard boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, cherry jams, fruit, cold cuts, banana bread and coffee dunkers, drinks, and occasionally mini croissants or mini tyropites. Breakfast was perfect for us but it might have been even better if the hotel included some pastries from The Baker of Folegandros. The bed was very comfortable but a double not a queen. The air conditioner works great but turns off as soon as you leave the room with your key. The hairdryer is a mini dryer with no hair guard on the vent and can eat your hair if not careful. The hill is a climb to get to the hotel, not good for disabled or older people. But it gives you access to the walk to Agios Nicolaos and you’ll also see mountain goats walking around. And the views are breathtaking. There is a nice lady who cleans the rooms every day and changes towels every 3rd day. A beach towel is included. There is no laundromat, but you can find one in Chora near the parking lot. No issues with water or heated water in the shower but there is only a hand held shower head. If you can deal with these small inconveniences, this is a wonderful place to stay! We can’t wait to return!!

This cafe has a large terrace where the view of Agali bay is just as good as the food. We visited Pasithea for dinner both nights we were staying down at Agali Bay. We enjoyed delicious seafood, cooked so simply. We were told the fish is caught fresh locally and brought in by boat to the little wharf we looked down upon from our terrace table. This restaurant serves Greek food traditionally. We asked what fish was available for our dinner. I was then escorted into the kitchen and the fridge doors were swung open. All the glistening fresh fish were on display, some I was familiar with, other's not. I picked my fish, it was taken to the kitchen to be prepared. Grilled with lemon and olive oil! On the other night, we ordered, amongst other things, the calamari, stuffed and grilled, again delicious.

There is a restaurant in this hotel (top of the steps from the beach past Blue Sands) which was one of the best we went to in Greece. Fresh fish from the boat that morning-they’ll bring you in and let you choose the fish you want and tell you how much it will be. The shrimp saganaki appetiser is fantastic. We had sea bream and red mullet, both sensational.

We stayed here for three days. We had a room with a balcony on the first floor, overlooking the bay. The Blue Rooms are just below this hotel. The rooms are clean, kitted out with all the necessary needs, beach towels, coffee and kettle etc plus a fridge. It is perfectly satisfactory with a warm and friendly family environment. It is on the quiet side of Agali away from other apartment rooms with music etc. Beds are like many other places in Greece, not luxury but satisfactory. Shower with good towels etc. Breakfasts vary each day with limited choice but toast, butter and jams, Greece yoghurt and honey, plus some Greece traditional option either cheese pie or boiled eggs it varies. We also ate here a few times, they have an interesting menu with good traditional Greek options but also lots of fresh fish and all perfectly acceptable. We have enjoyed staying here in a low key relaxed way. Would definitely recommend here but not if you are...
