O Psaromiligkas — Restaurant in Municipality of Folegandros

No doubt this is our favorite restaurant on the island. For 3 years we’ve been coming to Folegandros as Greek-Americans, and we eat here almost all week long. Vasiliki is so kind and sweet, and all of the food is so delicious! It’s nice to see this family run business (which is also a farm to table business sourced from their farm in Ano Meria). Vasiliki’s mom and family cook in the kitchen, while Vasiliki takes care of the tables and also runs the hotel at the top of the hill, Agia Marina. The restaurant has a beautiful view of Agali beach not to be missed. And don’t sleep on the moussaka or the papoutsakia if it is available - these were our favorite dishes and the best we’ve ever had! The octopus salad is also excellent, and the souvlaki plates are great and huge. The briam and tourlou were so delicious I could eat them every day. Wow! What an incredible experience. We ate here nearly everyday through a week.

The service is genuinely kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The food is simple but delicious, cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere is something special. During the day, you get the best ocean views, and at night, the sound of the waves adds a relaxing touch. There are plenty of great options on the menu, and everything we tried was fantastic.

This restaurant offers not only a great dining experience but also incredibly honest owners. The prices are unbelievably reasonable; I was shocked at how little we paid for a full meal! The value for money here is exceptional.
