Mythos Studios Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Gortys

After staying at 5 different places and eating at many different places all over Crete, this was the best experience, so far. The place is ran by Maria and her family, a husband and 5 grown-up children. She also became our savior when our car ran out of gas up in the mountains. She immediately organized a rescue party like a professional rescue worker. And before that we had a great lamb, freshly caught fish, awesome desserts, all prepared in her kitchen and adjusted for our kids' special requirements tongues. If there's one place we surely want to come to again, it's this one. This place breathes family life...

Zunächst einmal war das ansprechende Foto, das die Homepage dieser Anlage ziert, nicht wirklich dort entstanden, sondern war im nahegelegenen Ort aufgenommen worden. Nun gut, vielleicht habe ich nicht genau genug geschaut...||Auf meine explizite Frage vorab, ob das Apartment, das wir bekommen würden, Meerblick haben würde, die Antwort: "Alle haben Meerblick".||Das im Erdgeschoss befindliche Zimmerchen blickt auf eine zementierte Fläche, dahinter auf ein Haus. Nicht ein Zipfel vom Meer in Sicht! ||Meine Beschwerde wurde mit der Antwort abgebügelt, eigentlich hätten alle Zimmer Meerblick, nur leider seien die Pflanzen so hoch gewachsen. ||Ist wohl niemandem aufgefallen? Für wie doof wird man hier gehalten?||Der Empfang war unpersönlich und kalt. Es geht hier nur ums Geld, Gastfreundschaft scheint ein Fremdwort zu sein.||Das "Apartment" war derart klein, dass wir Mühe hatten, unsere Koffer irgendwo zu platzieren, ohne dass eine Tür behindert wäre.||Das Bad war ebenfalls super-klein, so dass man nur in der Duschwanne stehend ans Waschbecken kam, auf der Toilette sitzend stieß man auch schon ans Waschbecken. Selbstredend kann keine 2. Person das Bad betreten…||An der Decke fanden sich mehrere merkwürdige Streifen, bei denen ich lieber nicht versuchte herauszufinden, ob es sich um Schimmel oder schlicht um Dreck handelte.||Insgesamt schien das Apartment etwas vernachlässigt, das Eisfach war fast komplett zugefroren.||Das Bettenmachen bestand im Hochziehen des Lakens, mehr nicht. Danke schön, das hätte ich dann lieber selber gemacht!||Um uns die letzten Urlaubstage auf Kreta nicht vermiesen zu lassen, kamen wir ausschließlich zum Schlafen her. Wir waren sehr erleichtert, als wir die Tür das letzte Mal hinter mir zumachen konnten....

Hallo. First I will like to thank you all at the accommodation for the perfekt stay we have. Maria the ideal moom with big love for flowers and cooking. The father a professional Fischer man. And the son George a good manager. About the bungalow we have I can say was the best accommodation in 2 weeks travelling around the island Kreta. With view to the sea very clean and thank to the lady ho made it hapen. Looks like everything was new and the garden with the most beautiful flowers looks like a botanical garden. Again thanks for your kindness. Hope to return back...
