Olympios Zeus Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Kalavryta

Checked into the hotel on a very busy day but were made most welcome by Eleni the owner. The location in a deep canyon was superb with astounding views up the canyon. Right besides the famous cog railway which runs up to Kalavitra. The rooms were very clean and simple but tastefully decorated with plenty of plug points which is a boon when carrying lots of things to be charged up. Bathroom/shower was great. Comfortable beds and lovely views. Breakfast was first class and all freshly sourced - home made jams etc. The dining/lounge area beautifully furnished - you could tell Eleni's husband is an architect - the attention to detail was evident. Exceptionally clean hotel, sheets and towels were smelling super fresh! Kyria Eleni was very kind and accommodating. She even served us breakfast a bit earlier, since we had to wake up super early to go skiing. Breakfast was delicious, really appreciated the homemade jams, pies and cake served. Magnificent Stone building with large room and massive, comfortable bed. Super clean and warm. Breakfast was lovely and high quality with many homemade products available. Staff and owners were really friendly and eager to please. Photos don't do it justice - it is much nicer live.
