Golden Sun Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

😊: I highly recommend Golden Sun Apartments. Situated just 2km away from Arkasa, this property is located in a tranquil yet accessible location. Its proximity to Arkasa makes it incredibly convenient for enjoying aperitifs, dinners, and grocery shopping. All rooms offer stunning sea views, allowing us to savor the beautiful sunsets during the evenings we dined in. The host was exceptionally amiable and responsive to all our requests. A special shoutout to the cleaning staff for diligently maintaining the cleanliness of our apartment. They even went the extra mile of washing our dishes when we inadvertently left some behind. The apartment itself was spacious, including the wardrobes, which provided ample storage. Although we only had breakfast at the hotel once, the table service was delightful. Imagine. After a long journey you arrive at this remote village on a remote island and you are welcomed by this smiling Greek gentleman who welcomes you with this distinct new England burr, warm and hospitable like dark mahogony wainscoting. Meet the owner. Well, after this, he could do nothing wrong anymore, I suppose.||||The appartments offer board, but for a few euros they'll make you a lovely breakfast. The roms are cleaned everyday and the whole complex looks well cared for.||||Arkassa is just on the other side of the island, which means peace and quiet and you will still have a nice beach with a decent taverna close by. ||||If you go out around nightfall, make sure you carry a light as the road to Golden Sun is devoid of street lantersn and you will soon be literally groping your way foreward.||||To see more of the island, a car...

Thank you for your hospitality and warmth you have given us. We had a very pleasent stay in your wonderful Hotel The Golden Sun. Although the first few days of our stay did not start as planned you guys made us feel like home. Michaelis, thank you so much for bringing us to Pigadia to the Hospital and private clinic and thank you for explaining my condition to the staff in the Hospital. I've travelled all over the world but never experienced such kindness as you have shown us during our stay in your hotel. We have arrived safely home and hope that the four of us will be able to come again to lovely Karpathos and stay in your lovely hotel. Saying goodbye made us a bit said felt like leaving family behind.
