The general appearance of the place is pleasant, there is ample parking, a nice pool with an adjacent bar-breakfast area. The view is stunning and the isolated location can be interesting, to get out of the usual big resorts or hotels near the sea. The appearance of our villa was nice, very rustic. ||Having booked a villa that was supposed to be for a max of 4 people, I found the bathroom to be particularly small, with no real shower but with a tub to which a panel (broken) was addedto provide the necessary protection to take a shower. Towels were very old, the safebox didn't have a key (therefore it was useless), and there wasn't even a full-length mirror, only the small one in the bathroom, poorly illuminated. Our residence had an open space with entrance-kitchen-living room. In the living area instead of the ceiling there is a plexiglass that allows sunlight to enter, and, if this is pleasant during the day, it creates problems at night, as the sleeping area is adjacent and, at the first lights of dawn can be difficult to sleep. Fortunately, there was another bed on a mezzanine floor. This place is lacking in taste, some furniture is very beautiful, but the style and charm gets lost in the details (the synthetic bedspreads are horribly kitsch). ||No receipt at the bar for a tea and a coffee (5.20 euros), no receipt for the payment of the room and payment only in cash! We found this very strange and shady, if not illegal, like the fact that they have kept our passport for the whole stay. ||Breakfast is abundant but nothing special, all packaged stuff, apart from the eggs, the sausage and the omnipresent Greek salad. The bread on the second day was old. There is no brochure in the room, no information on breakfast timing, no information on how to connect to the wi-fi etc. Yet it wouldn't take much to make it all easier for customers. The sun beds around the pool should be replaced, they are literally shabby and old. The general impression is that it is a decadent place that with a little effort could come back to shine. Definitely not a 4...
