Petras Resort — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

We had an extraordinary stay at Petras Resort and especially the very empathic and service minded receptionist Alexandros and his colleauges made a very positive difference. When we arrived we were greeted by a beautiful white female cat that was obviously very pregnant. This sweet and lovely cat came to our apartement several times and was very communicative. We formed a bond with the cat and at the end of our stay it gave birth to three tiny kittens in front of us. An amazing experience. Alexandros and his colleauges promised to take care of the mother cat and its kittens when we left even though it was not their formal responsability. We really appreciate the positive and professional engagement the staff showed in this unusual situation. The white cat is a great ambassador for the hotel and we hope that she will be there next time we come. Also we can see that other guests had a similar experience with the lovely cat.|The apartement hotel is brand new and the rooms are well designed. We are very glad that we chose to stay at Petras for our vacation. Alexandros together with the 2 ladies from the reception were excellent hosts and made our journey feel perfect. About the stay: rooms are clean and equipped with air conditioning small kitchen in the room together with a fridge bathrooms were clean and towels were changed everytime we needed VERY VERY GOOD BREAKFAST (and cheap 10€) We could barely eat everything… There are 3 types of breakfast, each coming with coffee and fresh orange juice You had a big fridge in front of reception with self service where you could find: juice/beer/wine and you put the money inside a box . This was very nice since the host considered that people will be fair and won’t take anything without paying We managed to lock ourselved out and they came really quick after calling for help ( Thank you 🙏 ) Last but not least, THE VIEW IS BREATHTAKING. This was our second time on Crete and this time we spent a full 15 days at Petras Resort. We felt very comfortable and really enjoyed our time there. The resort is family-run and you can tell: the owner Alexandors and simply everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming! We particularly liked the rooms, the quietness and location of the resort and the extremely high level of cleanliness! Everything was just 100% perfect! Note: My wife and I travelled with our almost 2-year-old son and the resort was also perfect for this! The main pool has a small and separate area where our little son could run around by himself (under our supervision of course). The region is also really great and a bit quieter, but has great beaches and tavernas in the immediate vicinity. The next larger town of Kissamos is only 15 minutes away by car and Chania airport is only 60 minutes away. We can only recommend the Petras resort to everyone! We will...
