Sunset Elafonissi Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. On arrival we had a basket of fresh fruit, olive oil and raki. There was also tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper etc and shampoo. The apartment and pool area were very clean. We had clean sheets and towels (including beach towels) every 2 days and the bins in the apartment were emptied every day.||||There was a coffee machine, toaster and even a sandwich toaster but no oven, microwave or washing machine. Free parking in apartment car park. ||||The staff were very friendly and were happy for a late check in. We didn’t arrive until after midnight ||||The apartment is in quite a rural location and took just under 2 hours to drive to, from Chania airport and some of the roads were quite tricky. There were lots of amazing beaches within easy driving distance but there was not much else to do in easy driving distance. There were local shops and restaurants in villages but no big towns.||||I would recommend Elafonisi Beach (walk across to island where is quiter), Kedradosos (a bit of a rocky walk to Beach) quite and nudism and White Lake. One of the most beautiful places I have ever been! We took the biggest suite 58 m2 with pool and for sure one of the best sunset views. Everything new with best high quality furniture, cloudy comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen, laundry washing machine, quiet relaxing place, very clean and the staff will offer you everything you need. Mrs. Lucia from reception guided us from the beginning of the reservation til the check out. She provided us with local information and tips which were very helpful! It is the best and most beautiful stay near the elafonisi beach! You have to hire a car to get there but you will arrive in heaven.

Visit also elafonisi beach (9km) kedrodasos beach (tip) near and more beautiful and intimate than elafonisi, reach falassarna beach but drive carefully and eat at the Kosmos Taverna! You have near the stay a lot of mini markets and also near is elos village where you will find a gas station and pharmacy!

Both my partner and I had an amazing stay at Sunset Elafonissi Apartments. The apartment we stayed was very nice, clean and spacious, the view unforgettable and the private pool very refreshing and romantic. The remote location helped us to find the rest we needed in these strange and confusing times. Lucia who welcomed us was always there to help with information about the region and our other travel plans in Crete. She made us feel at home, for that Lucia many thanks! Although the location is remote there is also a wonderful taverna (Gialites Taverna) on walking distance from the apartments where we dined almost every evening. The owner Yannis made sure we always had something different and fresh to eat. The more touristic beach Elafonissi is close by (15 min drive). Although it is a touristic beach it is very much worth visiting. So overall an amazing stay we'll remember for long and hope to visite again in the near future....
