This review is as always a totally true and honest reflection of our holliday
We went here for a 7 night holiday end of May 2025, over all we had a fantastic holiday.
Jet2 describe the hotel as a 4 star but when we arrived thinking we were paying €70 hotel tax we were greeted with a €115 tax charge because the hotel class themselves as a 5 star, it's a nice hotel but like other reviewers it absolutely isn't 5 star by any stretch of the imagination, just being honest. I mean they only provide you with two small bottles of water for the duration of your holiday when i questioned this they said that if we wanted more water we could re fill the bottles from the machine in the restaurant, that isn't 5 star. No milk or coffee in your room isn't 5 star, and I could go on, my point is, though this is a nice hotel it's not as they say a 5 star. When they asked us for the €115 tax charge we went to pay with our card to be told they can't take card payments, when we told them we didn't have that amount of cash we were directed to a cash machine over the other side of the reception.
We pre read reviews on this hotel some of which were very negative but I can honestly say they were not true for us.
There were some issues that I wasn't happy with but they were minor which ill touch on in a bit.
The rude staff is I suspect a personal issue as we didn't experience rude staff at any time, I suspect the complainers just didn't understand that diferent cultures behave differently, that doesn't mean they are rude. Also I think if you treat with respect your repaid with respect, treat with kindness repaid with kindness etc etc
Its true to say the rooms were out dated, but surely this is a matter of opinion. They were very clean and comfortable, I guess you have to ask yourself would having an ultra modern room have made your stay any more pleasant? Of course not, the room we had was clean and comfortable and we sleped well, were cleaned evey day and we had fresh towels every day, what more do people want?
The idea that the floors were not cleaned every day was also not our experience, our room was cleaned every day including the floor.
The bathroom was large with a shower over the bath which was ok, i only say ok as sometime the water pressure was a bit weak but if you reduced the hot water a little you did get a stronger pressure and let's face it who wants a hot shower when you've been sunning yourself in 24c sun.
So for us, we were disappointed there was no coffee or milk in our room on arrival but following talking to the manager this was resolved very quickly and to our satisfaction.
I only drink Alcohol free beer but this is not part of the all inclusive offering, again I spoke with the management and again they did sort this for us to my satisfaction.
Entertainment on all nights was very good, far better than we have experienced on most of our other hollidays.
Food was good, not fantastic but good. But do be warned once an item has run out its run out so the later you go for dinner the less likely you are to have the full range of choice.
Staff in the restaurant, bars and housekeeping were all very friendly.
Availability of sun loungers was plentiful both by the pools and on the beach. We didn't witness anybody putting towels out at stupid o'clock in the morning,
And finally we had a very late return flight home which meant we could enjoy the last day in the sun even though we had to check out of our room by 11am, there was no issues with us continuing to use the resturant and bars, just remember to keep your wrist band on until you've actually left the hotel, there is a secure area to store your cases and they do alow you to use the showers and changing room in the spa downstairs so you can freshen up and change your cloths ready for your return home.
In conclusion the hotel, staff and location is really nice, and we had a fantastic holiday so we would defiantly go back although, it is unlikely purely because it's a really big world...
Read moreSo after a 2 week stay I would not recommend this hotel as I don’t think it’s a good value for money and is far off being the supposed 5⭐️resort it advertised
So 1st night we check in at about 11:30pm come to get the tourist tax, €210 for 14 night stay and you can’t pay by card, although inconvenient as that was being nearly half the money we bought out with us not the end of the world. Got driven in the golf kart for what was literally a 30 second walk to the room.
At that time of night obviously the buffet was closed completely understand that. The guy who took us to the room told us he’d bring us a cold plate of food and he’d be 5-10 mins, it took more like 40-50mins for him to bring the food which was honestly horrible, a crusty dried up sandwich and a apple. Honestly if you’re getting in that late and have to wait till nearly 12:30pm for something as awful as that just tell them not to bother and get to bed!
So for the rest of the stay, the people down at the “snack bar” are lovely and quite quickly remember what you usually have and the drinks are good, unfortunately with the snack bar it’s probably the worst for food we’ve had, they just chuck out 2 pizzas and 2 different pastries in a little food cupboard and just top it up when one goes, not really what you’d expect with a 5 ⭐️.
The beach is not maintained at all unfortunately, rubbish all over the place and the most depressing kids playground I’ve seen, I’ve you are looking for a nice beach holiday this hotel is definitely not for you.
The pool is good and we spent most days lounging round it BUT BE WARNED! Sun bed wars are the worst I’ve seen here. There is not enough umbrellas or sun beds for everyone and with us staying in late June you needed somewhere to get out of the sun for a bit, so people would either secure a sun bed either very late at night or extremely early in the morning, we’re talking 4-5am early, they would all be reserved by 7-8am. the hotel does nothing to prevent this even though they say that reserving sun bed is against policy.
The restaurant, so the food is good and they do rotate what’s on each night but there are very little options on the night so if unfortunately like we had and nothing that’s on offer appeals to you then you’re stuck on chips for dinner. The chefs are absolutely lovely though and we would always say thank you on our way out and they were very appreciative, the majority of the waiters on the other hand are extremely rude and one of them is beyond disgusting, he stunk to high heavens of body odour and he would stop what he was doing and stare at young female guests as they walked to and from the tables, found him extremely uncomfortable to be around and he should be disgusted with himself, I didn’t get a full name but began with GOI and ended in ROS.
The main bar, we only went into the main bar once and unfortunately yet again met with a rude staff member, just asked for 2 lemonades to take away and the look of disgust on her face was horrible, even so I said thank you for the drinks and she just gave us the side eye and walked away, very rude and needs to watch her attitude.
The room we had was 225 and it was okay, but dated and and tacky but the bed was comfortable and the balcony was huge. The cleaners also came in everyday and did a good job, just wish they’d swept the balcony at least once and there was a lot of plant debris that accumulated over our 2 week stay.
Overall this hotel is not a 5 ⭐️ and more of a 3⭐️ hotel, what reall let it down for us was the staff at the bar and restaurant. This needs addressing immediately as it’s the main reason we...

I stayed at this hotel with my sister. Our experience was far from the declared “5 stars”.
Payment and Check-in Upon arrival, there were issues with the accommodation tax: according to the document, the amount was €15 per day, but at the reception we were asked to pay €19, with the explanation that if you stay less than 6 days, the higher rate applies. Check-in was only at 15:30.
Another important point: the accommodation tax can only be paid in cash. When we wanted to pay by card, we were told it was not possible and were sent to the nearest ATM. Until we withdrew cash, they did not want to check us in. This information was never mentioned in advance when booking.
Room The first room we received was next to a strong sewage smell, so we refused it and asked for another one. We were then given a “suite”, but it also had many problems: • the jacuzzi did not work, • bedside lamps did not work, • the air conditioner was noisy and barely cooling, so I had to sleep on the floor. Cleaning was acceptable.
Food and Drinks • The food was edible but tasteless. Desserts were all the same, extremely sweet. • Fruits did not always look fresh, and melons were never sweet. • Alcoholic drinks and cocktails were of very poor quality: too much syrup, local alcohol. Wine was impossible to drink, juices tasted like instant powder. The only acceptable drinks were beer and water.
Beach • The beach was dirty, the ground was a mix of sand and stones. • Cleaning started around 9–10 a.m., already when guests were lying on sunbeds. The worker raked the sand and dust flew directly on people. • The entrance to the sea was the worst I have ever experienced: very large stones, slippery and dangerous. It was easy to slip and hurt yourself. I have never seen such an unpleasant and unsafe entry into the sea anywhere else. • For a hotel claiming to be “5 stars”, this kind of beach service is absolutely unacceptable.
Swimming Pool • The pool looked clean. • However, at 10 a.m., when people and children were already swimming, I personally saw staff pouring chemicals directly into the water. This cannot be considered acceptable service for a high-level hotel.
Towels • A €5 deposit is required for each towel, and the refund is problematic. • Towels can be collected or exchanged only from 9:00 to 18:00, and not at the beach, but at the SPA area. • This means that if a guest leaves the beach later, for example at 19:00, they are forced to return to the room with a wet towel and cannot return it. • For a “5-star” hotel, such an organization of service is also inconvenient and inappropriate.
Luggage Storage • The luggage storage system is also inconvenient. There are large lockers, but to use them you need to pay €2. • We were not informed about this in advance, and since we didn’t have the coins, we could not safely leave our suitcases. • The system itself did not look reliable or safe for a hotel that claims to be of a high standard.
Infrastructure • Plumbing is old, leaking, and broken. • There is only one outdoor shower, and it is not located near the beach but near the pool. • I found only one toilet, near the reception. • In general, the territory is clean, but all facilities are outdated.
Conclusion In terms of service and infrastructure, this hotel is closer to 2★. Even 3-star hotels where I stayed before (for example in Italy or Spain) were much better: clean, modern, with friendly staff who smiled at guests. Here, in a so-called “5-star” hotel, the quality of service was...
