We stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of our roundtrip on the Greek mainland. The hotel and its grounds are good looking but unfortunately a lot of things went wrong during our short stay. We were very happy with the first room we got. This room was on the highest floor with a good view on the pool and the sea. After we returned from dinner the air conditioning in the room didn’t work anymore. Because of this the room temperature quickly rose to 30 degrees Celsius. We have been to the reception about this issue three times. A man came along our room two times and just looked at it but nothing was done. At 03.00h we were not able to sleep anymore because of the heat and humidity. The reception gave us the keys for an other room in a huge flat building nearby. This room only had a double bed but no furniture because it was still under renovation. After a short night in this room we went back to the reception in the morning. The lady who was on duty understood our problems and arranged an upgrade to a suite for our second night. This room with a small garden was perfect. Since we were very tired we decided to stay at the pool for the day. Unfortunately at about 12.00h a large group of local kids (15 at least) came into the pool area. They took over the pool immediately. They jumped into the pool constantly, even when this was forbidden by the pool rules. They also were screaming and yelling all the time. This went on till 19.00h and destroyed the pleasure of many hotel guests. We have been to the reception to complain about this but nothing was done about it. |Nobody in the hotel took responsibility for anything. This was the case with our broken air conditioning (which had happened many times before as we heard) and also with the group of kids who illegally invaded the pool area. There seems to be a lack of good management at this hotel. It looks like they don’t care about the well being of the guest but only about making money.|The good thing was the self service breakfast which was served at the pool and had...
Read moreThis is a really fabulous hotel. Stayed for one night with family before flying home from Athens - about half an hour to airport. The hotel is located right near the beach with easy access to many good local restaurants and an attractive waterfront. I love the vibe and design of this hotel - it has a genuine Miami Beach feel to it - with the white washed buildings, retro features, tropical planting etc. The rooms are clean and spacious with good views of pool, gardens or sea. It’s the mature trees and planting that really makes this place special and the grounds are really well maintained. The staff are all excellent - friendly, attentive and always smiling. The food is pretty decent - although we would have preferred fresh rather than processed chicken in our burgers. The rock potatoes were the best chips we had in Greece. The cocktails were mostly very good - although the frozen margaritas tasted artificial - the barman was happy to exchange though. Breakfast was pretty standard, but good enough for the price we had paid. The pool deck is perfect - with ample seating, low key music, sun beds in pool and a large 20 meter pool. We appreciated the late check out flexibility. There is also an area for basketball shooting. Parking is free and easy. Overall, this place is very good value for money - great design - and...
Read moreThis was a great hotel that suited our needs for our weeks stay. The location was ideal, just on the edge of town which made it great for eating out in the evenings(food served in the restaurants is good, but can be pricey due to the low value of the pound against the euro). The staff were kind, friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. The receptionists were excellent and helped us plan two of our trips, saving us time and money, ask them about trips to Marathanos and to Athens, they dont advertise them, but they can ably assist. The pool and surrounding area was clean, tidy and very well maintained, with a bar and food available during the day, at a cost. There is also a lifeguard on duty most of the time. Breakfast was excellent with continental or a limited cooked available. Rooms were serviced at least every two days. One downside was that towards the seafront area loud music was played into the early morning, just below some...
