BLU SUITES AND STUDIOS — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

We stayed here for a week in June and it was utter luxury! I would 100000% recommend to anyone thinking of staying here! The suite was stunning and had everything we needed as well as lots of thoughtful little amenities, the views were amazing with incredible sunsets, the pool was gorgeous and so peaceful, the island itself is so so pretty! Jo and Faye are really amazing hosts! Jo has lots of recommendations for food, beaches, places to visit, things to do, and will call any local companies/people to help out if needed! She really goes above and beyond to make sure her guests have the most amazing stay and is so passionate about what she does and takes great pride in her business. We had an absolute nightmare as we checked out realising all ferries and planes off the island had been cancelled until 2:30am the next morning! But Faye was so kind and helpful calling multiple different people and companies all throughout the day to try and get some information for us and was even kind enough to let us stay by the pool area for the day and give us a lift when we got stuck in the port! We stayed for 3 nights and we were impressed by the very beautiful and practical details of the room. It was near Adamas at Parasporos, not close to the sea but with a panoramic view of half of the island and the sea. The room was very cosy, it was obvious that the host had aesthetic in every detail. The decoration was too attentive, even in the nights a bottle of wine was waiting us at the veranda of the room for goodnight looking at the stars and the panoramic view of Adamas town and the harbor. Although the breakfast was not included, there were every day small surprises at the refrigerator and the kitchen. Very clean, all in white and blue tones as the Aegean Sea, the wifi excellent and the most important the host very friendly and filotimi (a greek word that means many many good things). She and her daughter who is a law student and works on summer to help the family income, showed us the most beautiful beaches, excursions, restaurants of Milos, even they took care of our next accommodation since they had already booked the room for the rest of our stay in Milos. We could not have imagined a more beautiful stay than the one we had at Blu Suites in Milos! To begin with, the property is perfectly situated — a private and quiet location within an easy drive to all the must-sees on the island. The apartment is tasteful, comfortable, & clean, while boasting a beautiful, unobstructed view of the pool, sea and island. The pool setting is relaxing and so enjoyable with perfect double sun beds that float just above the water (what a sweet touch!). But this review would not be complete without mentioning Jo - the lovely, personable and kind owner whose hospitality goes above and beyond!! (Just one small example of the essence that is Jo, the airline lost our suitcases and she brought me a new dress to change into so that I wouldn’t have to rewear my travel clothing for my first day on the island!). We are back in New York now and I am taking the time to write this review because when you experience hospitality, service, overall value and beauty like this, it is worth commending.
