We stayed 2 nights at Limamare and were happy with our choice.||Location: Across the beach (separated by road), very close to port (ferry boat to Kythira), and right next to all the restaurants and cafes (ok, there are not many in Neapolis).||Were given an upgrade, with sea view, that was wonderful! Balcony great for afternoon relaxation, view on the sea is lovely.||Room: Very clean, with mini fridge and TV. Size of room acceptable. Lighting good. Socket on one side of the bed. Sufficient closet space, with drawers. (No safe, no complimentary water, no bathrobes or slippers). Bed mattress was ok, but could be better. A/C needs to be changed.||There was no noise from the street, but unfortunately, a lot of noise from other hotel guests who lack sense of respect and politeness towards others, yelling around early in the morning as they walk through the hallway. ||Bathroom: Very clean, bathtub with shower (good pressure), complimentary 2 shampoo bottles and 2 shower gel bottles; 2 towels/person; hair dryer. ||Breakfast: Buffet, not a huge variety of warm dishes, but delicious and constantly refilled (espresso/cappuccino machine); no egg station. Some options for vegetarians, but unfortunately, ingredients are not signed out. ||Parking: The hotel has its own parking, I think, but there’s also public parking (free) across the hotel.||Staff: Wonderful, always with a smile and always helpful||Overall, price was acceptable (55 E/night, mountain view,...
Read moreExceptional hotel, the best breakfast, comfortable beds. These are just a few phrases that perfectly describe our experience at the luxurious Grandview Hotel. From the moment we stepped foot into the elegant lobby, we knew we were in for a remarkable stay.
The exceptional service began with a warm welcome from the friendly hotel staff who greeted us with genuine smiles. The check-in process was swift and efficient, ensuring that we could start enjoying our stay as soon as possible. As we made our way to our room, we couldn't help but notice the impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail throughout the hotel.
Upon entering our room, we were immediately struck by the tasteful decor and spaciousness. The comfortable beds beckoned us for a much-needed rest after a long journey. And let me tell you, those beds exceeded our expectations! The quality of the mattresses and the softness of the linens provided us with the most serene and restful sleep we've had in a long time.
But the true highlight of our stay was the breakfast at the hotel's renowned restaurant. The moment we stepped into the dining area, we were greeted by the most delightful aromas and a vibrant display of culinary delights. The buffet spread was nothing short of extraordinary, offering a wide array of...
Read moreWe stayed 4 nights at limira mare. The hotel is beautifully situated, as it is only a quick jump over the street away from the ocean. It is also quite clean and the people are nice. Unfortunately, you feel like you just traveled through time. The hotel looks like it hasn't been renovated since 1980. The furniture is really outdated and the whole hotel looks like it really needs a complete renovation and new furniture, wall painting etc. The bed was comfortable though. The bathroom is really not functional, as there is no window and really dark light. Furthermore, the bathtub is where you shower and it doesn't have a hanger to attach the shower head to. The breakfast is also a bit of a disappointment, it is standard but nothing more. Nothing really tasted fresh. All in all, we really liked the view and the people of the hotel, but you could really make a lot more of it. Oh and there's...
