My Comfy Luxury Rooms & Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

For the sake of clarity and transparency, I will provide all available info and will not try to be too harsh towards this structure, as we did not stay there due to force majeure reasons. In fact, to our first leg flight was delayed for extreme weather conditions in Spain, so we missed our connection to Mykonos and we got to Greece one day later than expected, arriving in Athens and not Mykonos. So, ultimately, we did not stay at My Comfy Luxury Rooms.

I am sure that these rooms are pleasant and nice, yet I still want to inform people who book them, that if your stay is cancelled for reasons like the one that affected us, the property will still charge you the full price and you won't even get a voucher or discount for a new stay.

For Greece, this is quite unusual as normally property owners are very kind and accommodating, especially if there are reasons like these ones affecting the stay of the clients. However, this will not happen with this property so not only we had to book a new hotel, but we were also charged the full price (almost 230EUR) for the room.

Indeed, we would have appreciated if the owner (who has been very kind with us prior to our arrival, and who was chatting to us via whatsapp) had offered us for some minimum sort of compensation when we asked - but she didn't even consider this possibility, she just said it was not possible.

This is a pity, as we often travel to Greece and would have definitely considered staying there in the future, in our next trip to Mykonos. Because of this, I don't feel in the position to recommend this...

The studio is luxurious and modern. It has A/C, a TV, integrated Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling, spacious shower, Nespresso coffee machine with free capsules, fridge, etc. Ritsa was a really nice and accommodating host, she was really helpful and easy to reach whenever we had questions or needed help with things such as ordering a taxi or food. There is a nice beach 30-min walking distance which is not too crowded and has one of the clearest water we've seen in Greece so far. There is a bus station by the studios.
