Le Palme Hotel Mykonos — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

The good: it is a new hotel with nice decor and modern design. Beautiful pool area. Other than that it was a disappointing experience . Bed are uncomfortable with hard mattress and no duvet. The hotel is located right by the islands most busy main road. The traffic noise is constantly noticeable on the property. The junior pool suite be the most poorly located one with the road just outside the room. Impossible to sleep at night, relax or even enjoy the facilities. The patio and private pool is placed facing the road with no privacy. We spent hours with the main pool and there was no staff in the reception or in the pool bar. Not possible to even order a drink . And this was during the day Which is weird. We even saw arriving guests around 4pm not able to check in. I have traveled across the world, eighteen countries across 3 continents and my staycation here are Le Palme has been the most enjoyable and relaxing till date. There are multiple reasons behind my bold statement, the first one is the absolutely amazing staff members of the resort. They are super helpful and knowledgeable about the island. The room design maisonette with pool was just as described, perfectly maintained and with all necessary amenities. We took breakfast in the poolside restaurant and it was great as well. They have a very friendly taxi driver Tony, who waited till midnight to pick us up. This resort is also easily accessible by public transport (bus), the nearest bus stop is at the Flora Super Market only 2 minutes away. Exceptional experience!! The hotel is beautiful and the staff (Eirini and Johanna) made it a 5*+ holidays. I don’t usually write reviews but this time I had to. We were treated as family, they bought a new mattress to make our two beds a single double bed upon our request, they had tons of details with us (my fiancé loved them), all their suggestions for the day were top. Always attentive, always with a smile. They made everything easier and as result we relaxed and enjoyed. These are the things that make you come back and Le Palme is already in my list of favorite places in Mykonos. Looking forward...
