Mykonos Ark Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

Phenomenal. Cleanest accommodation we enjoyed in all of Greece. Onsite manager is fantastic and very friendly, these people know how to run accommodation and do it extremely well. The infinity pool was heaven, the views are stunning. Only comment is the roads in are slightly hair raising if you’re a nervous driver. I would stay here again in a heartbeat, and it’s close to fabulous restaurants too (all driving distance away in under 10 minutes). I’d add another 5 stars if it were possible 👏 And another 5 stars to Kostas and his lovely team. Good vibes, good people. Final comment worth making: As we were making the booking, we were concerned about the 1 star comments regarding security (from some years back). The entire compound is gated, there’s a sophisticated security system in the villa, and the car entrance is a remote controlled gate. The windows are the fantastic multi-open option style that allow air to come in while staying secure (I’m sure there’s a proper name for them!). Six of us stayed at the villa and we had a great time. The villa was spacious l, very clean and well equipped! We had to call Kostos as soon as we arrived as the bottle opener was missing 😆 he was at our door in under 5 minutes with a replacement! He was also extremely helpful with advice on places to go, beach clubs and restaurants etc and his suggestions didn’t disappoint!! Even after we left he was amazing as I had left some clothes behind in a drawer, I contacted him and he posted them back to UK for me! The house keeper was fantastic too, coming in everyday to clean, refresh towels and make beds. It is a little way out so you do have to taxi, but under 10 minutes to the village and under 30 mins to Mykons town, when available Kostos took us when he wasn’t we had a taxi number to call. All in all was fantastic....

This place is very far away from the main attractions and the beach, it is essential to have a car to travel to anywhere from the place. It is a dangerous drive to the place, especially after sunset, as no street lights at all. Worst of all, it is not safe. We were burgled on the first night when we were out for dinner for only a few hours. There is no security systems, no cctv cameras. Many expensive things were stolen including drone, jewellery and watch. The owner promised us for compensation, but is completely ignoring us now. Absolutely appalled by the service and attitude.
