We were attending a re-enactment of the Nemean Games in Ancient Nemea and wanted to stay closer than the 45 minute drive away in Nauplio. ||We found this wonderful boutique hotel by chance on the internet. ||We are so glad we did!||From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.||The rooms are nicely appointed with a guest elevator.||The hotel serves a fresh buffet breakfast every morning beginning at 8:30 AM. I especially appreciated the home made jellies that you could top your yogurt with.||Besides a small bar, the hotel has a wine cellar where they store local Nemean wines. Many of them you can sample by the glass.||The hotel is also within a 2 block walk of two wonderful restaurants in Nemea. ||The hotel is about 5KM from the archeological site in Ancient Nemea and is in a wonderful location for exploring the wine road and region of Nemea.||My wife and I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling...
Read moreNemea was the first overnight stop of our Peloponnese road trip. We hadn’t booked accommodation but struck gold when we found Kerā Nemē, with available rooms.
From the moment we stepped in we were delighted. Only open for a month-and-a-half, the boutique hotel is beautifully decorated, sympathetic to the landscapes of this area of the Peloponnese. Stone, wood and the colours that surround.
Nemea is famous for its winegrowing and Kerā Nemē boasts a glorious cellar and local wines to try by the glass.
Everything has been considered in the rooms, with very comfortable beds and pillows, robes, slippers and quality toiletries. The rooms were quiet and immaculately clean.
The hospitality was impeccable. Michaela’s welcome and care through to Maria & Kosta’s conversation, coffee & excellent breakfast spoke of a deep understanding of hospitality in its truest sense.
Nemea is a lovely regional Greek town and Kerā Nemē is a jewel...
Read moreI confess to spying. I am on holiday, but I have The Black Pig Studios at Finikas on Syros. When I go on holiday I like to stay in interesting accomodations and take ideas and trends from different places. Kera Neme Wine Habitat is one of the very best locations I stayed. There are so many lovely touches and thoughtful details. Sadly I can’t copy much without starting again from scratch. The staff are trying equaly hard to make their guests as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was superb and don’t miss out on the wine cellar. They have an incredible selection of Nemea’ best wine from various vineyards. If you are a wine affictionado this is a good place to start. There is also Sofos restaurant round the corner, which is a must visit....
