Feyre Boutique Mansion & Aya Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

Having just come home from a fortnight trip to Crete staying at this villa, it has taken me a few days to sit and think through this review. We were a family of a few generations ranging from 10 - 70+ and this villa lived up to and exceeded our expectations. The villa itself is well presented. Each bedroom is spacious and well served by their own bathrooms and the fittings and fixtures are high quality and make the villa feels extra special. The villa is set back from the sea front but this doesn't take away from the view of the sea and sunset, which can be viewed from many different terraces - our favourite was the beach area itself or the middle upper bedroom terrace. The pool was refreshing but never too cold and the hot tub was a great addition for evening bathing under the stars. We found the Villa had lots of cutlery and crockery which made meal times much easier and there was plenty of utensils at our disposal. There are supermarkets, coffee shops and taverns close to the villa - around 5/10 minute walk - so although we had a car, it is not essential. We stayed at Feyre Boutique Masion for 6 wonderful days this September. The villa is beautiful, spacious, spotless and in a wonderful location close to groceries, restaurants, a bakery, coffee shop and pharmacy. We were four couples and the villa offered all of us beautiful and spacious common areas both inside and out and beautiful, spacious, well appointed bedrooms with plenty of room. The villa itself is well equipped with everything you need. Ample glasswear, plates, pots, and utensils. They have a drip coffee maker and an Nespresso machine. The provided us with a beautiful welcome basket including home made raki and olive oil.

Katerina, the host is absolutely wonderful and made our visit unforgetable. She has many recommendations for restaurants, beaches and transportation.

We had the pool heated and we spent hours relaxing in and around it. The beach is charming and a wonderful relaxing escape. We used the concierge from Etouri to book a private catamaran and a private chef and both were fantastic. Would...

We had an amazing two weeks at Villa Feyre. We were a family of 10 and found it spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were all lovely with great air con, comfortable beds and good showers. The outdoor area and swimming pool were fantastic and we spent most of our time here. The seaview was great and the location so close to the sea was handy (although with small kids the short drive to the main beach at Rethymno was more suited as less stoney). Katerina was very helpful and gave lots of information on restaurants and quieter beaches. She responded quickly to any queries. We would recommend Panorma and Geropotamos for quieter beaches.
