Thalassi Restaurant, located just by the sea, offers stunning sunsets every evening. With its great location and excellent Greek food, it’s a must-visit. As part of your booked holiday at Thalassi Hotel with half board, your dinner will be served here. The buffet offers a rich variety of food every night, including fish, meat, vegetarian options, soup, fresh fruits and vegetables, Tzatziki, feta, and delicious desserts. I would also recommend trying some of their food from the a la carte menu, including moussaka, gyros, dolmades (stuffed grape leaves made using a family recipe passed down through three generations), and all their seafood options. Restaurant has a big choice of drinks, alcoholic and soft drinks. I will recommend to try their home white wine.
Every Monday, the restaurant hosts a live music show featuring traditional and modern Greek music. Every Thursday, they showcase traditional Greek dancing, including Cretan dances.
Besides the great food and breathtaking view, the atmosphere will make you feel like part of a big family, making you want to return every night. Keen eye of Mr Dimitri make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone is happy. I would like to particularly thank Mr Dimitri, Mihalis, Anthony, and Eleni. Their warm and family-manered approach made our every night feel special.
Efharisto to whole team. See you soo...
Read moreThe service was extremely disappointing. I can’t believe that I would have to give my first comment under such circumstance. We came because of good score, but we were really in bad luck that we were served by a tall strong old gentleman who couldn’t be well communicated at all.
First of all, he requested us to order alcoholic drinks because he said “customers must do so that they can earn money”. We were surprised by such speech. But we thought that he might be joking. At the end, we ordered only soft drinks since we need to drive.
Then, things went in wrong direction. One of the children felt cold due to the play in the sea. We asked whether there is hot drink, tea, hot chocolate or hot water. He suddenly changed his face, forcing us to accept that Greek culture is the best, and we shouldn’t ask such question at all here in Greece (the same sentences last for a couple of minutes until we decided to change to another restaurant nearby). We were lost at all. What is the relationship and the logic here?
Anyway, after reading comments from low scores, it seems that we are not the only case here. A lot others have been treated by this gentleman in a weird way. Wish you all good luck not being served by him here since the menu still...
Read moreThis is a nice restaurant and decked out very smart.
The restaurant often get people in such as singer’s and professional Greek dancers
The food is nice and many options are available but please do not take the owner Demitrie to hart. When he say’s things.
Demitrie is so passionate about Greek food and wants you to try everything available. He can sometimes come across as pushy or harsh. But he is far from this. He is a lovely man
But you must like as you find.
To get to the restaurant from the hotel. Sometimes they will put on a mini bus. Or you can walk it’s literally five minutes away.
As you exit the hotel turn left. Walk down the street and on the the is a ice cream parlour turn right and walk past the parlour.
Turn left and walk to the underpass and go through this. Its well lit but be aware cars will drive through this. On exiting turn left.
Literally walk up the road and the restaurant is there on the right hand side. It has a palm tree walk walk way whit green light
If this helped please...
