Lyra Petra Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

Just returned from an amazing 8-day stay at Lyra Petra with family, including four young children. The villa is finished to a very high standard, and the owners have truly thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and stress-free. We were provided with travel cots, high chairs, beach towels, indoor towels, and even toiletries—such thoughtful touches that made traveling with children so much easier. The views over Rethymno Old Town are absolutely stunning, and while it's only a 10-minute drive away, there are also local shops and supermarkets within walking distance, which was super convenient. What really stood out to us, though, was the hospitality. Chris and his wife warmly welcomed us on arrival and shared a wealth of helpful information about the local area, including great recommendations for restaurants and things to do. One evening, they even hosted a fantastic BBQ for us—such a special experience. Highly recommend Lyra Petra for families or groups—thank you again for making our stay...

Thank you so much for a wonderful family holiday in your beautiful villa. It has been built to a very high standard and the decor is really tastefully done. The attention to detail is brilliant. All of which made our stay so enjoyable. There were 11 of us in all and it was spacious and comfortable. The views of Rethymnon from the balconies are breathtaking. It was so nice to meet you and your lovely family and it was so kind of you to host a BBQ for us too, which we all enjoyed. The grandchildren especially loved the swimming pool, which they used daily. We would highly recommend Lyra Petra Villa. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay....

What a Villa! Simply stunning….what makes it even better is the family that own it. Couldn’t do enough for us all. Our children loved the outdoor space, especially the pool. Facilities were excellent. We had the best holiday and can’t thank you enough. Wishing Chris and his family all the success with this villa as honestly it’s a beauty.
