Lindos Blu, Luxury Hotel & Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

You don't really have to be a Greek God or Goddess to stay at this beautiful hotel. However, in my opinion, if you do choose to stay at Lindos Blu, the location and ambience of the hotel, along with the most dedicated and highly proficient of teams, will effortlessly make you feel like a God and Goddess from the moment you arrive, until the minute you leave.||My husband, son, his partner and I are returning guests, having stayed at the hotel three years ago. During our last visit, we were so impressed by the contemporary architecture, the overall design of the hotel both inside and out and the amazing team who delivered a highly responsive and exceptional guest experience to us all. ||So just after midnight on 26th May, we arrived with great expectations to replicate our first experience, feeling eager to celebrate another wedding anniversary and to create more happy memories. We were very warmly welcomed by the gentleman from reception and the night porter - they came directly outside to greet us and to take our luggage. We were given warm scented towels and our details were swiftly taken for check in. We appreciated the friendly and expedient way in which this was done as we were all feeling quite tired. ||The very kind night porter escorted us and our luggage to our rooms and gave us a brief orientation. Our room had been immaculately prepared and waiting for us was a bottle of rose' wine, two fruit cocktail deserts and a tray of pastel coloured macarons - all of which were thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated. The icing on the cake though, was a welcoming letter from Mr Nikos Triantafillakis, Hotel Manager, which included recognition that we were returning guests. His sentiments were genuine, sincere and from the heart. We were deeply touched by his level of detail. ||Words cannot express how happy we were to have been allocated the same junior suite and double room with sharing pool as before. Along with the comfort of our rooms, we had the most spectacular and far reaching views over Vlicha Bay, the ocean and the surrounding mountains. Our rooms were kept immaculately clean and tidy by our housekeeper Elida. Elida remembered us from last time. We also remembered her too - how could we ever forget such a warmhearted and sincere person, always smiling and happy to see us. It was so fantastic to come back to our rooms each day after breakfast, to find everywhere so fresh and appealing. We are so grateful Elida - thank you. I wish I could remember the name of our evening housekeeper who was very pleasant and helpful too. Thank you. ||The breakfasts at Smeraldo were a very beautiful, peaceful and serene way to start the day. The spectacular setting from the terrace is completely breathtaking. One morning we were treated to a very talented pianist playing soft melodies which completely suited the mood and beauty of the environment. Add to all of this to the efficient, non-imposing staff who quietly make it their one aim to simply go out of their way to effortlessly serve you with complete grace and perfection. Your wish is their command! The selection from the buffet and egg station is vast. The display is beautifully presented. Each morning, I chose to have the delicious, creamy Greek yoghurt, with thyme honey, seeds nuts and fruit. It's the best I've ever tasted and will continue to be so, until my return. ||On a few occasions we had lunch at the Allegro Pool Bar. The menu was varied, the service was efficient and our lunches were plentiful, well presented and tasted really good. During the evenings, we took the short taxi ride into Lindos. Our favourite restaurant for dinner was Tambakio in St Paul's Bay. The setting is so beautiful and tranquil and to be able to dine by the gentle waves of the ocean as the sun sets is a pure delight. There were a couple of evenings when we visited the Luna Rossa Lounge Bar. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine during our first visit. The wide expansive view from here is nothing short of spectacular. Such a fantastic area from which to enjoy a cocktail with a friendly attentive team on hand. ||We had another fantastic holiday and Lindos Blu did match our first experience - in fact it exceeded perfection again. However, an establishment such as this, even with its beautiful unique design and stunning location would be absolutely meaningless without the priceless team of individuals who go above and beyond to look after their guests. ||Although each member of staff we encountered was welcoming, friendly and helpful, I would like to acknowledge all those lovely individuals with whom we had the most contact with. Firstly, I would like to express my most sincere gratitude to Ms Katrina Skoni, Front Office Manager on reception, who dealt with my request to try and allocate the same rooms that we had last time. I knew from the outset that this possibility could not be guaranteed. Katrina worked her magic though and by doing so, it gave us as a family precious time to connect and to enjoy the sharing pool together. We all lead very busy lives at home and so this gave us the best possible opportunity to make the most of our stay. It was a joy to meet you Katrina and I very much enjoyed our brief chats. ||We made full use of the amazing team on reception to make dinner reservations, order taxis and to arrange car hire. In this respect, I became rather fond of Michael. I referred to him as "Saint Michael," as a reflection of his charming, friendly and helpful nature. Also charming and always smiling was John Paul. Thank you for allowing me to tease you. Although I didn't tease Marina, I very much enjoyed her warm and friendly approach and her willingness to engage with us. ||Breakfast times began outside the entrance with a warm greeting from Anneta. Each morning we looked forward to seeing her, as she was so charming and gentle, always showing an interest and very complimentary towards us. Once inside, we received more warm greetings from Hessah who was most courteous and softly spoken. She did a great job in finding the perfect spot and in guiding us to our table. On a few occasions we were most fortunate to meet Nixon. We very much liked his open-heartedness and warm hospitality. I am sure he is a most valuable member of the team and we wish him all the very best in what life has to offer him. Anastasia is someone very special to us. I remembered her from last time. Her warmth and hospitality is inspiring. Anastasia never stops, she very calmly and intuitively visits all the tables ensuring each guest is comfortable and has everything they require. On the morning of our wedding anniversary, she surprised us with the gift of two candle lit muffins. Her gesture made the start of our day feel very special and it was gratefully appreciated. Thank you for everything Anastasia. ||Also, during the afternoon of our wedding anniversary, I visited the hair salon and was warmly welcomed again by Anneta. After receiving a calming non-alcoholic beverage, which was aesthetically well presented and after completing a questionnaire, I was introduced to Maria. I was really happy with how Maria washed and styled my hair. She went to great lengths to ensure it was exactly how I wanted it. I received many compliments and felt like a million dollars. Thank you Maria. Later that day a most delicious and beautifully decorated chocolate cake was delivered to our room. It was another fantastic surprise and one which we were most grateful for. Thank you. Lastly, thank you to Yanis for looking after us so well during the couple of times we visited the beach and to Clyde for his smiles and friendliness when transporting us back to the top. ||Finally, I did not want to leave, but all good things must come to an end. As we were leaving it was really lovely to meet Nikos in person. Goodbyes were said and we were waved off by Nikos, Katrina and the lovely bell boy. We very much look forward...

Everything about this hotel oozes perfection.| |On our arrival we were welcomed buy the concierge who took our cases aside whilst we were checked in. |Michael and Ivanna on reception were both very welcoming and introduced them selves as if we had known them for a long time however this was our first visit at the Lindos Blu so a very happy and a good start to our holiday and expectations. |We were given a quick talk on the features of the hotel and we’re offered a nice cool flannel, a glass of fizz and some delicious home made chocolates. |Ivanna gave us a guided tour of this stunning hotel she was very knowledgable and informative. We had a shared pool room (133)|With a breathtaking view of the sea and mountains. The room was spotlessly clean spacious with everything we could possibly need for our stay. The bed was huge comfortable and had the best fluffiest pillow for a great night sleep. There was plenty of room for clothes and side drawers by the bed for whatever you want to use them for. |The pool was a perfect size for 4 people sharing however we were very lucky to have it to ourselves for 5 out of 7 days.|Thank you to the amazing house team for keeping our room clean and replenish every day you are all wonderful. ||The staff in this hotel go out of their way to make you feel welcome and special. We have stayed in many 5* hotels around the world but have never experienced the service provided at the Lindos Blu. ||We stayed on a half board basis the food was outstanding and plentiful. |Every morning and evening we were greeted by Martela in Smeraldo restaurant she is a beautiful young lady very intelligent and we loved getting to know her and speaking to her about her life outside of work.| All the staff in the restaurant were amazing but I would like to mention a few… ||Augustinos - head commê waiter a very lovely young man attentive, professional and very smartly dressed. ||Anastasia - her kind and caring attitude blends in beautifully with the ethos of this hotel. Outstanding professionalism every day a beautiful lady with a “ heart of gold”💛 Thank you for the extra touches on my 65th birthday. ||Katerina - so kind knowledgeable and professional in her daily routines she always took the time to ask us about our day and showed interest in our responses. ||Spiridoula - full of life, attentive and professional in every manner her speed of work is second to none always there ready to fill our glasses smiling and showing Interest in our daily routines. ||Nixon - his smile and attitude and sense of humour lights up the dining room. ||Hassnah - happy and always at hand to ensure we had everything we needed her beautuful smile was very welcoming. ||Johnny on the hot buffet outstanding service every am/pm. Attentive knows about every dish he serves up and encourages you to try new dishes, he has a lovely mannerism and welcomed us at every sitting. ||Thank you to the rest if the team who’s names I did not get, you are all very professional happy smiley hard working and do not go unnoticed. ||Finally Nikos the manager - where do I start… |So young to take on such enormous responsibilities, he is driven by passion and perfection he goes above and beyond to get to know the guests and ensures their stay is a memorable one. |I would like to personally say a massive thank you for every gesture that was provided on a daily basis by Nikos and his amazing team. ||We have never experienced service and amazing quality of food in any other 5* hotels we have stayed in. ||We ate in the buffet ever night some might think it’s a bit canteen style but I can assure you it is far beyond canteen style food and delivers very high standard of different delicious dishes from around the world. ||Nikos likes to speak to guests and is always open to hear how things could be improved however we told assured him it’s hard to improve perfection. ||Well done everyone at Lindos Blu we cannot wait to...

This was our fourth visit to the Lindos Blu , but we’d not been back for a few years due to moving home and some health issues , but we knew that from the minute we arrived nothing had changed. |This hotel is just brilliant and that’s why it’s the only hotel we continue to come back to over the last 11 years. |The hotel is very well situated only five minutes taxi ride from Lindos town, and has its own private beach appointed to this adults only hotel. This year there were luxurious new sunbeds on the beach, so comfortable and new parasols to match, making for a much more relaxing experience on the beach. |The beach has its own waiter Giannis who always had time for a chat and nothing was ever too much trouble. This year each parasol had a QR code on it which you scanned and placed your order for drinks or food or both and he would attend with your order very quickly which is a bonus and a happy disposition. |This year they have also added a buggy driver Clidey who takes guests up and down the hill to the beach which is great as it is a bit of a steep walk up and down from the beach, but again he was always so polite and checked in on how you were when he saw you. |The food here is fabulous , we did bed and breakfast as we like to eat out in the evening but the choice is excellent and there is everything you could want from the buffet and omelettes and pancakes made to order also. |The main reason though that we return to this fabulous place is the amazing staff and I mean that about every single one of them they are like family now , under the genuine care of the hotel manager Nikos every one of them looks after every guest impeccably and makes them feel so welcome that you don’t want to leave. Special mentions to :|The breakfast crew (Christian ) your omelettes are the best. Inese keep up the great work with the restaurant staff and don’t lose your wicked sense of humour. Anastasia you are a wonderful spirit and care about every guest you serve, you are a credit to the hotel and its ethos. |The bar crew who we spent wonderful evenings getting to know George and Konstantina, you are both totally brilliant and do such a fantastic job keeping the bar running smoothly, you will be missed , Vangelis they are a credit to your team. |All the front of house staff who are so warm and welcoming and also our cleaner Luli just so caring and respectful. |This hotel is outstanding in every sense, it has won many awards year after year but I can understand why. Yes there are tiny things that could be improved to enhance the experience but nothing that someone coming here for the first time would look at. |If you haven’t already visited this hotel or you’ve been thinking about it, don’t hesitate it’s five stars and more in my book. |My husband and I will be back and will be looking forward to being cared for by this wonderful team once again |Thanks from The Coombes’s...
