Golden View Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Just returned to the UK from Golden View Studios. Most will need a car here although there is a bus stop just down the road that will take you everywhere. The rooms are lovely and comfy and very clean. The beds are great and one of several great provided pillows is plump enough to have a great sleep. Aircon is provided free and works great but even with 33 plus degrees outside somehow the rooms stay chilled for quite a while, even when I turned the aircon off. Nice fridge and TV with some English channels showing movies and US and UK shows and lovely large balcony with great view of the sea and lush green and rocky hills . Good kitchen and utensils if you need to make food. Lovely room decor and to top the place off, the pool is wonderful. Only 10 x 4 metres but beautifully chilled like a fine wine to cold enough to save you from the 33 degree plus weather. A great and welcome and regular relief for all from the heat. The pool furniture and sunbeds are lovely and are like brand new even though they are seven years old with very pretty foilage and surroundings. Run by a husband and wife who seem lovely people and rooms cleaned by an efficient cleaner. All in all would not hesitate to come again as felt like a home from home. The location is very convenient considering the studios proximity to the beach, the nearest supermarket and the bus stop. The pebbled beach (however, sandy in the water) is around 7 min away, down the hill from the studios (on the way there is a fresh vegetable and fruit shop, high quality production). Walking down to the beach is quite a challenge because the road is steep but excellent if you wish to exercise a bit before the morning dip in the sea. You can easily get to the beach by car, it takes just a couple of minutes and there is a free car park right by the beach. We enjoyed this pre-breakfast swim each day of a 2 week stay.|The studios are very close to the town of Lindos and its beaches. If you want to go there and don't have a car, the bus stop is just outside the studios.|The studio has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each studio has a private entrance. The surrounding greenery is well maintained. There is a nice swimming pool and barbecue facilities.|The name 'Golden view" speaks fore itself.
