Villa Olive Grove — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Pros: The owner is formally kind.||The apartment is clean, and every two times for week they clean it again.||The owner let us doing the late checkout.||||Cons:||Owner in the beginning offered transfer service to us from the Airport but couple of days before our arrival told us he cannot anymore, because in that time he had to be in the propriety for other guests. So make double check if he offer a transfer or book directly online (and save some money).||Seen the location of the apartments is quite isolated (to use an euphemism) is mandatory to rent a car or a scooter.||We decided to rent a scooter from the company suggested to us from the owner of the apartment.||The scooter was old and constantly losing oil (and every 3 days needed to come back to their office to make a service).||About the price of rental of course was overpriced to cover commissions paid from the rental to our landlord.||But those were minor problems, the biggest problem was that the man inside the scooter rental don't understand english (or pretend to do not understand) and we risked to lose our flight because of this.||To fix the problems caused to the ignorance of the manager of the rental we had to pay a taxi 50 euro, 20 euro more then the price that the man in the rental told us.||So dear Stefanos, choose better the companies with whom you cooperate, because this review could have been much more positive if we haven't been scammed from your...

I wasn't due to arrive at the property until almost midnight however Stefanos had contacted me a couple of days before to advise which room would be mine and that he would leave the key inside the room ready for me. Arriving late at night and in the dark I did struggle to locate my room initially but I messaged Stefanos and he replied promptly.||||Nice room with everything I needed for a few days stay. Kettle, basic cooking utensils, good sized fridge, hairdryer, towels and with wifi and aircon included. ||||I stayed in a superior studio with double bed and lovely sized balcony with great views.||||I didn't bother hiring a car but nothing was too far away by walking. Property is located within similar distance to both the beach and Afandou village. Bus stops for trips to either Rhodes or Lindos (and places in between) about 5 minutes walk away on main road.||||I travelled as a solo female and although the property is in a remote area I walked back late at night several times and appreciated that the side road to the property was well lit.||||Stefanos was a good host and seemed happy to help with anything he could.||||Would recommend staying here for a quite and relaxing stay if you want to avoid...

Dont ever book there, dont use your credit card, dont pay in advance. Stefanos is the most rude person I have ever met. We booked two rooms 4 persons , the one for one day and the other for three days. He gave us two rooms at the garden and after our friends left he accused us that we were three in the room. He wouldnt listen and asked us to checkout, we explained the misunderstanding, he never apologised always rude and unfriendly. We was all the time walking around the apartments spying at the the rooms, no privacy at all. The location is far from everything you definitely need a car. No mosquito net at the balcony door, no soap for the hands, no toilet paper in one room. And the towels were very very rough, no softener whatsoever.
