Gyro & Burger — Restaurant in Municipality of Rhodes

First visit and won’t be our last during our staying in afandou.

The place is self serve, so you just grab a table wherever on arrival and grab a couple of menus from near the counter. There is a massive mix of different meat options as well as beef and chicken burgers.

My husband opted for the Mixed Grill and I went for the Pork Gyros. The portion sizes are SO generous! The drink selection is also self serve and not a massive choice. These are located at the left of the checkout till area for you to pay for. Once you choose what you want, you go up and order yourself. You’re then given a little buzzer which goes off once it’s ready to collect.

As good a burger and chips as you're likely to find anywhere and all at a reasonable price. The meal as shown is €6.10. Given that it is far superior to anything you would get at McDonalds or SuperMacs (Ireland's best fast-food company... sorry Pat!) I would have to say that it is the best quality and value in burger and chips that I have ever eaten. The chips are unusual in that they are quite natural, maybe cooked in an air fryer as opposed to deep fried. On a different day we had the Gyros, these were very tasty and again great value. Vassilis pays great attention to customer satisfaction and runs a tight ship. The takeaway business is relentless and is probably greater than the eat-in business. This restaurant...

Hello out there. We were looking for a good place to eat out there next to our air bnb and then we found this restaurant. The people working there are very friendly and helpful. The boys successfully implemented every wish we had. We went there literally every day and felt very welcome. We’ve been 7 people from Hamburg Germany who ate this type of food a lot at home. But that was crazy good. The gyros was sensational and the burgers also insanely good. The table we always had got more relaxing vibes than every other restaurant i went to in my life.
