Petros Italos — Hotel in Municipality of Sithonia

I chose this hotel to spend a long weekend with my daughter between 13 and 16th of July. The website was attractive, so where the listed facilities (swimming pool, restaurant, Jacuzzi, free wifi in the rooms).||We arrived and the first thing I noticed was... no wifi in the room. Not having 24/24 reception service, I had to wait for the next morning to ask why no wifi was available in the rooms, and the answer was that there was a problem and it would have been solved... the next week. Wifi was only available in the reception area.||Then I asked for directions to reach the swimming pool, but I was told that it was not functioning. So we were invited to go the the close beaches (around 500 metres and 1,5 km distant).||Same thing applied for the Jacuzzi and the restaurant, both not functioning due to ongoing maintainance works.||Quite disappointed, I asked the manager if I could speak to the owner, but the answer was that I had to go to the under-reconstruction restaurant if I wanted to meet him (about 2 km distant). Being the price quite high (90-100 Euros per room per night, breakfast included) I asked if the lack of the well published facilities would have brought down the price, but the answer was a simple NO.||I've asked other two times if the owner could come to meet me, but he never showed up, not even to apologise for all the inconveniences.||At that point I had no other choice than contact booking.com and cancel the rest of my short holiday, complaining for the missing comforts, which I had, anyway, to pay for.||My suggestion is, if you really want to go to this hotel, to get in touch with them and ask about the availability of wifi, restaurant, pool and jacuzzi.||Or, even better, to avoid it.||There must have been a reason because this hotel was empty and all the others were fully booked for weeks...||Excellent sleep quality, very silent and...

First of all it is more recommended for short staying than for long holiday. It is nice bed & breakfast but located in non-walkable distance from beaches, stores and restaurants to be recommended for longer staying.||||It is nice building with huge garden located directly on the main road but with parking and garden backyard where is breakfas served. There are two types of rooms: superior like a suite which is well furnished and spacious and the other one economic on the ground level which is more low cost. Bathrooms are very spacious. Rooms are clean with daily making and changing towels.||||Wifi is available only in the lobby and breakfast area but often with week signal or even more lack of connection.||||Breakfast is continental with good and fresh choice. Nice decoration and very clean. Even more, you can order whatever you want additionally like all types of eggs or bacon. ||||Staff is very gentle but with week language skills especially english. Owner is italian who has besides this b&b also very nice but also very expensive italian restaurant open only during the summer "Casa dell'aragosta" located 2-3 km from the b&b in the hill with wonderful sea view and very nice surroundings and facilities. Spotlessly clean, spacious (in effect this is a suite), new (2015 built), great balcony with views to the sea, surrounded by tall pine-trees that bring you a breath a fresh air, large windows with excellent noise and heat block, this is arguably the best "Enoikiazomena" "(Rooms to let") in the whole of the Neos Marmaras area.||Staff is polite and professional. Parking is easy. The beach is only a few meters away.
