Emily Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Syros and Ermoupoli

Words are not enough to describe the vibes you get from this beautiful boutique hotel. Located right on the seafront of a quiet and calm bay with crispy clean water the first thing you want to do is jump straight into the sea.

Alexandros and his family who own and operate this hotel, make you love this place even further. They welcome you with a Syriano Loukoumi, a local delicacy and they take you to your room, where another surprise is expecting you. A modern pleasant room with unique furniture and the ultimate space efficiency that should be studied at architectural and design colleges. And as if this is not enough, you open the window and there it is the most amazing view of the blue sea, right from your bed.

The rooms are on the small side but perfectly equipped and well designed that can accommodate comfortably a four person family.

As far as it concerns breakfast never before we have experienced such an accommodating host to our needs. We were offered almost everything from a toast to local honey, fresh eggs and sweet figs, freshly squized orange juice, everything made on the spot and not beforehand.

For later in the day you can reserve your plush and comfy sunbeds and umbrellas right in front of the hotel and enjoy your day with snacks, coffee and drinks mostly served by Dimitri the brother in law of the owner.

Definately on our next visit to the the island we will be staying here again

Tips: Order early your breakfast as it is made fresh, it takes time. Take a room of the upper floor to enjoy amazing views Parking might be difficult if you return at lunchtime because of the nearby popular restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Emily in Achladi Beach, Syros, and I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was. From the moment I arrived until the day of my departure, every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. I am delighted to award this establishment a well-deserved five-star rating.

First and foremost, I must mention the exceptional hospitality provided by Alex, the perfect host at Hotel Emily. From the warm welcome I received upon arrival to the genuine care he showed throughout my stay, Alex went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. His attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request truly made me feel like a valued guest. Alex's friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge of the area added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit.

I stayed at Emily from for a week, I have just returned to Amsterdam since a few days. When Alex showed me the room I remember saying how does the remote control of the tv work because that’s very important to me. Not once did I look at tv, it’s just the sea and relaxing. ||It takes a few days to get into the rhythm of a Greek island, one week is really too short, next year it will be 2 weeks if I am allowed to come back because I am very messy ☺️. ||I adored the beach, the sea, the kindness of this family run hotel, the cleanliness. We agreed that my room only needed cleaning after 3 days because of corona,& clean sheets and towels, Syros has 0 corona and as a guest I felt the responsibility to keep them just as healthy as I found them. |I ❤️my bedside lamp, you just had to touch the base and it lit. Besides the beautiful bathroom I was surprised at the wonderful water pressure. As you swim a lot and Syros always has had a water problem I kept my showers short & sweet. The family heard that I loved spanakopita from Danos and it was delivered every day to the hotel. Also big water bottles, I could receive them from the hotel at the same price as at the supermarket. ||One picture shows Alex bringing breakfast to the room of a guest and making a chat, he had spread himself very thin, tries to give everyone attention, the whole family work very hard. ||I can’t think of anything that could be done better, perhaps a simple timetable with bus times to Ermoupoli and return times to the hotel. ||Thank you hotel...
