Omna Caldera Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We originally booked two nights in the Prestige Suite at Omna in Akrotiri, Santorini (the hotel’s top suite ) but unfortunately missed our flight and were unable to make it on time.

I contacted the hotel to inform them, and although a refund wasn’t possible due to the booking policy, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Maria, who handled our case, was incredibly understanding and helpful. She offered us multiple alternative dates and generously issued us a credit to use whenever we were able to make the trip.

Thankfully, we eventually made it to Santorini and were able to stay in the Prestige Suite and it was absolutely worth the wait. The suite offered unmatched privacy, which is rare to find in Santorini. The experience was serene and luxurious, with direct views of both the famous Santorini sunset and the caldera, all without the usual overwhelming crowds of Fira or Oia.

Maria made our stay even more special. She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and local spots, and her thoughtful attention truly made us feel at home. Despite some rare bad weather on our first night, she even sent out a team to clean the swimming pool so we could enjoy it the next day.

This was, without a doubt, my best stay in Santorini. The level of service, the privacy, the views, and the warmth of the team at Omna made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and truly memorable Santorini getaway, and...
