The food was good- we just chose what the waitress suggested, plus the fava dish because I can’t get enough of that. This is a family run business- while showing the fresh fish of the day, the waitress introduced me to her mother who does the cooking. It was a -little- more pricy than I expected but still a good value- the quality and quantity are great. The bread was soft and fresh. The Greek salad was nice and dominated by sliced cherry-sized tomatoes. The cold eggplant was refreshing, and the fresh fish served over a pile of fries was as you’d expect from a fresh grilled fish- awesome. We had walked to this beach from the Akrotiri excavation site- a long and arduous hike along goat paths through the mountain- and the ice cold beers we got on the patio here REALLY saved the day. After lunch we relaxed on the beach for a few hours and then the waitress was kind em enough to help call for a ride back to Perissa Beach. Great people...

Absolutely the best restaurant in Santorini! The food is incredible — perfectly seasoned, full of flavor, and the portions are huge. The service is outstanding, everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We visited after the main season, so a few dishes from the menu weren’t available, but there was still plenty to choose from, and everything was fresh and delicious. The owner is such a warm and lovely woman. Even though moussaka wasn’t on the limited menu, we asked if it might be possible to have it the next day because we really wanted to try it — and she kindly agreed! This family run taverna is a true jem. The stuff here was polite and served us with a smile from the start to the end of our delicious meal. Everything we ordered was excellent and in large portions -we were full and even took a bag of leftovers upon leaving, which hardly ever happens in Santorini! Fish was fresh, local products and herbs were used, making even the simplest of plates (e.g fries, salad) extra tasteful.
