Mr & Mrs White Tinos Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Tinos

We really thought this place would be amazing but unfortunately the pics online were taken from such a good angle that when we arrived it didn't feel like we were at the hotel we thought we had booked. First of all, this is not a hotel neither a resort per se. It is a cluster of rooms built around a small-ish pool with no lounge and zero atmosphere. If you go to the beach or decide to laze around the pool, when you get bored there is absolutely nothing to do - at all!||The hotel is on a steep hill with steep ramps and weak handrails so we would definitely not recommend it for guests with any kind of mobility issues whatsoever. The lift wasn't working during our stay and we felt so sorry for the staff who had to carry heavy luggage up and down the stairs - health & safety guidelines for the staff seem to be non-existent.||The rooms were clean though very basic and no real thought has been taken in relation to the functionality and design of the rooms. Also, unless you are lucky enough to speak Greek, there are only about 4 TV channels to choose from. You do get a mini fridge though and a bottle of water. The bed isn't that comfy so hopefully you won't be spending a full week here.||The breakfast offering is box-standard buffet but the quality is visibly cheap. If you have both gluten AND dairy allergies just save yourself the aggro and find some other place to have breakfast.||||The reception is not really what you would expect it to be (which should be, smiley, warm and buzzing by the way)...Dimitra was great and so was the young Lefteris (a very enthusiastic and keen to please man for all jobs) and the ladies at breakfast.||||The place was clean and most of the staff we interacted with were lovely so we gave it 3 stars. But honestly, don't come here if you are coming under the pretext of booking a luxury accommodation, as it is not. If you have ever stayed in a "luxury" or "boutique" anything, you will know what I mean. There are much better places closer to town you can spend...

My boyfriend and I just stayed at Mr and Mrs White for 4 nights and it was brilliant! The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The receptionist all smiled and greeted us cheerfully everytime we walked past. The lifeguard Maria even gave a private yoga lesson one afternoon when the pool was empty. Everywhere in the hotel was extremely clean and in very good condition. The breakfast buffet had lots of of food to choose from. My boyfriend always piled his plate up with bagels, bacon, scrambled eggs and even eggy bread one morning. Whereas I would have a big bowl of Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit from the enormous fruit bowl. ||We paid for a superior sea view room and we were delighted with the beautiful view of the sea and Mykonos! The bed was really comfortable. The aircon was very quiet and worked perfectly. The room was very spacious and there was lots of space to unpack all our clothes. We went to Laoúti and Fiki beaches which are just a 15 minute walk away and we hung out at the pool a lot as well. The sea was actually warmer than the pool! ||The only negative thing to say about our stay was there wasn’t much to do around there other then go to the beaches. There was one restaurant a 5 minute walk away and the beaches. Otherwise you had to get a bus or a taxi into Tinos town to find any other restaurants and shops. ||Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Mr and Mrs White and would happily...

Το ένα αστέρι γιατί δεν μπορώ να βάλω κανένα!!!||4στερο ξενοδοχείο του κ……||Για να τα πάρουμε από την αρχή λοιπόν τα πράγματα μόλις φτάσαμε με παιδί και μωρό αγκαλιά βλέπουμε ότι έχει τις πρώτες σκάλες….||Μπαίνουμε στη reception και ρωτάω αν έχουν καρότσι για τις αποσκευές….θα μου πεις ζητάω και εγώ από ένα “4στερο” ξενοδοχείο τέτοιες πολυτέλειες;;||Μου λένε φυσικά ότι δεν έχουν αλλά θα με βοηθούσαν τα παιδιά τα οποία ομολογουμένως είναι ΟΛΑ μα ΟΛΑ πολύ πρόθυμα και ευγενικά. Όπως και στο πρωινό το οποίο σημειωτέον είναι φτωχό μεν αρκετά γευστικό και ποιοτικό δε, αλλά οι υπάλληλοι δεν σε αγχώνουν να φύγεις να μαζέψουν όπως αλλού!||Μας λένε λοιπόν ότι το δωμάτιο μας βρίσκεται στον επάνω όροφο. Ωραία λέω και εγώ ας ανέβουμε λοιπόν με το ασανσέρ. Χα εδώ γελάμε….δυστυχώς μου λένε πάλι το ασανσέρ δεν λειτουργεί και όταν ρώτησα το λόγο μου απάντησαν το κουφό….επειδή είναι λέει παλιάς κατασκευής χρειάζεται πιστοποίηση άκουσον άκουσον. Να υπενθυμίσω εδώ ότι μιλάμε για “4στερο” ξενοδοχείο και δεν μπορεί να βάλει ένα καινούργιο και να πάρει πιστοποίηση;;; Απορώ και χωρίς αυτή την παροχή πως πήρε τα αστέρια…||Πάμε στο δωμάτιο…||ΠΑΝΤΟΥ μυρμήγκια!!! Όταν λέμε ΠΑΝΤΟΥ εννοούμε ΠΑΝΤΟΥ!!!||Προφανώς ψεκάζουν πριν μπεις και σε λίγα λεπτά αρχίζει να περνάει απο μπροστά σου η κόκκινη στρατιά!!!||Βγαίνουν από ΠΑΝΤΟΥ και πάνε ΠΑΝΤΟΥ!!! ||Ακόμη και σε καλλυντικά ή οτιδήποτε και εννοείται πάλι πως όταν ξαπλώνεις στο κρεβάτι περπατάνε πάνω σου! Τρομερή εμπειρία “4στερου”. ||Η κυρία υπεύθυνη μόλις της το είπαμε έκανε ότι δεν γνώριζε τίποτα και όταν ήρθαμε σε επαφή και με τους υπόλοιπους ενοίκους του ξενοδοχείου αντιληφθήκαμε ότι όπως ανέφερα και παραπάνω βρίσκονται ΠΑΝΤΟΥ και σε ΟΛΑ τα δωμάτια!!!!||Τι να αναφέρω ότι έφυγε ζευγάρι(δεν ξέρω αν είχε και παιδάκια μαζί) από τη “σουίτα” που πλήρωνε και εγώ δεν ξέρω πόσα χρήματα γιατί είχαν κι αυτοί μυρμήγκια!!!(και η κυρία υπεύθυνη που δυστυχώς δεν συγκράτησα το όνομα της όπως σας είπα έκανε ότι δεν ήξερε…)||Πάμε παρακάτω||Καλά το να κάνεις το βράδυ μπάνιο στο ντους και να ανοίξεις το παραθυράκι να φύγουν οι υδρατμοί ούτε κουβέντα. Δεν υπάρχει σίτα οπότε στην καλύτερη θα μπουν αρκετά έντομα στη χειρότερη ο Γκοτζίλα που λέμε!||Ηχομόνωση μηδέν καθώς το “4στερο” δεν έχει αλουμίνια αλλά τα ξύλινα πατζούρια από την εποχή που πρώτο φτιάχτηκε!||Η πισίνα εννοείται χωρίς προστατευτικά για παιδιά κτλ πέφτει κάποιο μέσα και ο θεός μαζί του!||Το αποκορύφωμα λοιπόν την τελευταία βραδιά είπαμε να πάμε μια βόλτα στη χώρα.||Επιστρέψαμε λοιπόν και ψάχνουμε να παρκάρουμεεεε…εδώ αρχίζει το ωραίο.||Θέση σε όλο το ξενοδοχείο ούτε για δείγμα(να υπενθυμίσω ότι είναι βράδυ λοιπόν και έχουμε και τα παιδιά στο αυτοκίνητο να κοιμούνται … με ΑΣΑΝΣΕΡ εκτός λειτουργιας) ||Δυστυχώς αφού γύρισα όλο το parking και δεν βρήκα κάποια θέση σκέφτηκα να καλέσω τη reception να μας δώσει μια λύση κάπως.||Η κυρία Μαρία Αναγν……λου που έχετε εκεί μας απάντησε ότι δεν την ενδιέφερε(δεν ξέρω φυσικά μήπως της χάλασα και τη βραδιά της και την ηρεμία στην οποία βρισκόταν και άρχιζε να μας δίνει απαντήσεις τύπου και τι με νοιάζει εμένα(μάλλον θα έπρεπε να παρκάρω σε άλλο ξενοδοχείο για να μην της χαλάσω και τη διάθεση) και όταν της έδωσα τα συγχαρητήρια μου για το ξενοδοχείο πάλι μου απάντησε ότι δεν τη νοιάζει γιατί δεν είναι δικό της.||ΜΠΡΑΒΟ, ΕΥΓΕ τέτοιους υπαλλήλους χρειάζεστε για να διώχνουν τους πελάτες σας!||Με λίγα λόγια χρειάζεται αρκετή δουλειά αλλά δεν ξέρω πως σας δίνουν αυτά...
