You can walk to the town of Marathopoli where there are supermarkets, greengrocer, pharmacy bakery, restaurants. Our favorite was "Panorama Restaurant ", exquisite food with incredible ocean view.||"Ammolofoi" (Costa Navarino) The best beach with the best and breathtaking sunsets over the sea. Pefkides is a unique place in a picturesque scene! The accommodation is highly rated equally to five stars resorts and the Greek hospitality is at its best. Our favorite maisonettes are Aloe and Levander. Although the four of the five properties are similar, these two have the best views of the pool and the surrounding area. The Cocomat mattresses, the excellent quality of the furnishing and the minimal design are pros, too. Nancy and Chara will welcome you with a smile and are always there to assist you. For the sandy beach nearby one has to take the car, although the sea is in front. We prefer the Golden Beach which is the same sandy beach of Costa Navarino and the nearby KOA beach bar. There are two mini-markets in the nearby small town/village of Marathopolis and a variety of places to eat. Highly recommended...

Probably one of the best apartments in Greece we have stayed in, it felt very safe with electric gates. Exceptionally clean, kitchen functional with hob and microwave, toiletries, fluffy towels, comfy bed, nice toiletries provided, insect screens. The whole place is exceptionally clean. Nespresso machine with pods a lovely touch, having a morning coffee in the beautiful tranquil gardens surrounded by olive trees, very beautiful and only a few steps to the pool. Received some kind welcome gifts from Nancy and she gave us good info about the area, a really great host. |Hard to think of anything that could be improved it really is tranquil, would have personally preferred some cushions for the pool...
