Hyades Mountain Resort — Hotel in Municipality of Xylokastro and Evrostina

Our overall experience was poor. ||We visited the place this July during heat wave. Although on booking air conditioning is mentioned as room facility there was none in the room. The result was that you couldn’t stand a moment inside during the day and you could barely sleep in the night.||Also we were 4 adults and the house had one double bed, one sofa bed and a portable bed that was uncomfortable. ||The breakfast was not good (and we paid extra for that). Everything included, was on the room (in 35degrees) and on our fridge from the first day we arrived (mainly prepackaged stuff and medium quality) and they were never refilled. ||Finally, we paid 40€ more than the price in booking (we directly booked through the property and then checked in booking) ||On the good site, the place is beautiful with nice view and many things to visit...

I got to visit the place for work and i was pleasantly surprised!

1. The owner which i had the opportunity to meet is a great easy going man, talkative and attentive!
2. The place as a whole is truly nice with small houses placed on the hill and stoned pavements connecting them. A small section with a horse, rabbits and deers among others, is a nice addition for families with children.
3. The rooms have nice interiors with great amenities. The room layouts are wonderful as well, with the cave room being a highlight among them.
4. Room service was splendid as well, and I would characterize it as humane, not robotic.

Highly suggest visiting, while pricing might be steep i believe it...

We traveled in a large group and took 4 chalets in the lovely Hyades mountain resort. The photos are true. It is one of the most beautiful places in Greece! The resort is self is a great place to stay in if you want to get to know the area. All the main points of interest are in easy driving distance (+ there are lovely places within walking distance) and the resort stuff was very helpful with tips and recommendations.
