Let's start:||(+) Huge rooms & patio area||(+) Comfortable beds||(+) Fireplace||(+) New (~3-4 years old)||(+) Great views||(+) Quite location (no cars, not much people around)||(+) Friendly and discrete owner||(+) Breakfast is prepared in room (self-service), includes all kind of coffees & tea, milk & juices, bread/toast, honey & marmelade options and a basket full of cookies, cakes and so on... So, do not expect eggs & bacon, but you can buy such things from the market and add it to your breakfast menu... The good thing is that you can eat breakfast at any time and either in your room in front of the fireplace during winter or outside in the veranda if no cold...||(+) The suites are ideal for families or even "close" friends, 2 double-beds, one in the ground floor and one up the stairs (no door separating the rooms though, one bathroom for all also)||(+) the area is full with trees, flowers and vineyards especially during the Spring time||||In general Kato Trikala is the most quite village of the 3 (Ano Trikala & Mesaia Trikala the other two). It offers 2-3 good restaurants, 1 bakery and 1 cafeteria. You will need a car to get around: during winter to go to the other 2 villages which are a bit further up the mountain and have greater variety in restaurants (but you will probably get stuck in traffic as the road is tiny, so better of by foot, 1-2 km distance) and during summer to go to Xylokastro for a swim (25 min drive).||||Overall I can't remember any negative points, just two things to mention:||(-) There is no shower curtain, but you have a big bathtub, so If you shower, water will spill out a bit||(-) Since the guesthouse is build with stone & wood (which helps for warm winters and cool summers), if you stay on the ground floor, you will here the...
