Mavraganeiko — Hotel in Municipality of Xylokastro and Evrostina

That was one of the most pleasant stays in recent years for sure! I like those cosy family-owned places, where you feel invited into someone's home. At the same time, giving you the privacy you need. Mavraganeiko is exactly such place - we all the time felt warm and friendly welcome from Mr Nickos, his son and Ms Juli (might misspelled the names). I am not talking about the location, which, of course, is amazing - see the picture, basically made from the bed :) as probably all the places in the region have more ir less the same breathtaking sunsets and sunrises... Talking about practical side: 2 things must be mentioned- breakfast and cleanliness. What a rich, tasty, home made breakfast with ommlette, eggs, cheese, meats and amazing pies made by Ms Juli! Talking about cleanliness I must day my standards are very high and I still can give 10/10 to this place! Spotless clean! Just left this morning and already...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mavraganeiko hotel in Greece for three nights, and I was absolutely blown away by the amazing service, delicious food, and comfortable accommodations. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made me feel right at home. They were always happy to help with anything I needed, from booking excursions to recommending restaurants. My room was spacious and spotless, with a beautiful view. I especially enjoyed the private balcony, where I could relax and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. hotel’s breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Overall, I had an amazing stay at the Mavraganeiko hotel. The service, food, and accommodations were all top-notch. Guest house with 7 rooms, excellent location and adjacent parking. You need to update the exact location in "booking" and pay attention when you get off the main road to the access road to the hotel. The welcome is cordial and the room includes a real wood-burning fireplace and a balcony with an amazing view. The breakfast is rich and includes everything a person wants to eat in the morning. There is a small kitchenette in the room with the electric kettle and a gas stove, and it was nice if tea, coffee and sugar was in the kitchenette. It is a problem to find a store here with these groceries. The only minus of the hotel, if you are on the top floor, it is difficult to climb with your luggage to the top floor.
