Had some business in the area so decided to stay here. |||The buildings and ground are well maintained, but the road right in front of the hotel (as is the entire area) is in terrible state. It has potholes as deep as 13 cm and they aren't filled/repaired. We damaged our wheel and blew out our tire, driving quite slowly I might add. Bring an SUV.|||The hotel owner was very nice he removed the wheel on our vehicle himself and helped arrange service. Great fellow. |||The rooms are nice, but at 130 euro in the off-season, they are a little overpriced for the area and season. But it's the only luxury hotel around with all the amenities. |||The rooms (at least ours) also are quite dark, without much light (comparing to other rooms we've stayed in the area).|||The Spa, swimming pool, and view was very nice. The spa reception Angeliki was a lovely young lady. |||The worst part of the hotel is the massage service. I was charged 100 euro for a 65 minute massage (per my chronograph watch), it wasn't even on the price list. I asked for fullbody deep tissue but was given a light massage back only. She spent much of the time doing some strange chanting and convulsing her body like she was making an exorcism. It was hard not to laugh. My girlfriend had a similar, poor, experience. |||I've had other new age holistic type massages, but this was just a bit too much. More show than substance. |||The service was generally excellent, they were even nice enough to do 2 weeks of laundry that we had from our travels, free...
Read moreFrom the moment i saw the resort sign I knew the next 3 nights were going to be spectacular! This was a surprise getaway that my partner had planned for us so I knew nothing about where we were going or what the place looked like, therefore I had no expectations. ||We stayed in room 103 and it felt like home! We had our own little house nestled in between white snowy mountains with our own private fireplace, extra heaters in the room controlled by your self and let’s not forget the unforgettably breathtaking view from the room!|| The spa was relaxing, clean and the service we received was excellent. We both treated ourselves to massages and the ladies there were great and knew exactly what they were doing.||The restaurant had a great menu and the food was delicious! If you wanted something different but still Greek or even if you simply didn’t feel like walking down to the village, give the restaurant a go, we did a few times and the food was consistently delicious! The two things that will make us return to this place tis the service and hospitality we received. Nothing was ever a problem, the staff are knowledgeable and always there to assist. Thank you for giving us an unforgettable experience and look forward to the next...
Read moreOur classic car group of friends was amazed by the location, the warm hospitality and the luxury private mountain houses with more facilities we could possibly have dreamed. ||After our rally, the indoor heated pool was a balm and we appreciated the professional treatments and the kindness of the lady at the spa. Taking about restaurants, as Italian travelers my wife and I are very demanding but we were surprised by the genuine abundant "grandma" style dishes their chef created for us.||This was not the only surprise for us: one of our friends had his birthday and they prepared a special cake for him switching off the lights and starting a celebration music to greet him. ||The morning after we enjoyed again the spa pool and we were ready for a rich breakfast with fresh fruits, cooked delicacies and local specialties.||We all are looking forward to book again another amazing "Pliadon Gi experience"...
