Unbeatable views and pool, spotless rooms, just knocked off one star but a few snafus during our stay that I think are important to note. . Staff is overall friendly, and as I said, the views and ambiance here are UNBEATABLE. We could not believe how stunning the location is at an affordable price! . We'd recommend renting a car or scooter to get around, as this is a little off the beaten path. We rented a car for one day and spent it exploring Lefkes and some surrounding areas. . We must have spent at least 20 dollars on bottled water during our stay, as there's no "free" water access besides at breakfast so you have to order it from the pool bar. I do wish they'd provide more water for the rooms at least as it's HOT out in the summer. . Staff is pretty uptight about the beach/pool towels... we felt we were getting a scolded when we asked for new towels (we'd used ours 3-4 times already... we didn't realize they were such a premium item!) . Weird thing, but the cab the hotel called for us (only two guests) was actually a large passenger van, and it literally made us SICK – something in the air vents or on the seats, I'm not sure, but we felt ill each time we took the van. We asked for a different car, but the hotel said they had no choice in what vehicle was sent. We were unable to reach a cab service on our own, so we had to deal. . Hotel offers laundry service, which we utilized twice, but required us to call and follow up on it instead of bringing it to the room or letting us know it was done. Thought that was a bit odd. . Overall, while the staff members were very friendly (especially the food service workers!), I would not say we got "above and beyond" service – not that we were expecting it, but the other hotels we stayed at felt much more accommodating to our needs with a higher level of service. This didn't bother us as we were just happy to be there – but other travelers may want to take note. . Breakfast was VERY yummy and we loved it. Delicious selection every morning! The dinner buffet was our FAVORITE as well. . We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again; just figured we'd overshare in case anyone was curious and wanted to be aware before booking. As I said, you simply cannot beat the views here, and the pool is 11/10. Worth it if only for that! We spent most of our time lounging by the pool and taking in the...
Read morePerfect hotel for your Paros vacation! Located 20 minutes walk from the Parikia (the capitol village) and 5 minutes with a car (lots of free parking lots). It feels isolated, with an adjacent narrow beach strip. It has amazing view over the sea (take the sea view room).
Our room was tidy, clean, well designed and had a nice and spacious balcony with a sofa to chill on. Everything is highly maintained (shower, sink, etc) and there's a medium size screen TV. The pool is sea-water, looking at the sea, long enough to do some swimming. The hotel is rather small so never feels crowded. There's a cool pool bar with cold beers, fruits, etc. taking your lunch and dinner at the pool bar is awesome. Breakfast is simple in a good way - fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs (organic), pastries and bread. They also prepare small snack bags of seeds, berries and dried fruits.
There are several chilling areas in the premise where you can sit and watch the sea, the sunset and enjoy yourself.
Staff is very nice and polite and will help with getting a car, taxi, etc.
We recommend renting a car via the hotel since the car agency brings it to you and takes it back as well (or you can drive to the airport and leave it there). It's the same price as renting it directly from the car agency.
Food for lunch and dinner is great and reasonably priced as well. There's Greek food, but also pastas, burgers and chicken nuggets...we recommend the Panini for a light meal or the fresh fish and sea food for a bigger meal.
The only negative comment is that there's no accessible way to get mineral water to drink on the premise (they say that tap water isn't good to drink). You can fill your bottles during breakfast but they won't allow it afterwards.
So of course you can buy mineral water, but since it's so hot in the summer and one drinks a lot, you always need to buy new bottles (which is also bad for the environmental). I think it's a basic requirement to have a cooler with filtered drink water accessible during...
Read moreOverall, we had a nice stay at the Paros Bay hotel however there was definitely room for improvement.||The hotel itself is located about 10 minutes by car outside of the town centre. With taxis costing around €30 one-way, it wasn’t viable to keep using them during our stay. Luckily there is a bus at the top of the road which runs every hour and is €2.50 one way. Hiring a car is definitely recommended.||The hotel grounds are nice and there is a small beach in front of the hotel. There is another beach a 5 minute walk away as well. Sun loungers on these beaches are €70. The room we stayed in was rather small and the bathroom was even smaller. Our shower door leaked water over the floor and on one occasion, we were given a clean towel that had orange stains all over it.||The swimming pool area is a lovely space and gets the sun for the majority of the day. However, it was frustrating that for such a large area, there were less than 20 sun loungers. For the amount of people staying at the hotel, there were not enough beds. When you think that a family might take four beds, then you can see that for a hotel with over 60 rooms, 20 sun loungers is far too little. They should remove some of the bar tables and taverna chairs and replace with more sun loungers.||Breakfast wasn’t great. Very basic selection and low quality food set in a small restaurant room. We went in high season and it was a bit of a free for all when trying to navigate around the food and coffee area.||The staff were lovely and helpful. We hired a car through the front desk which was handy. The hotel offers same day laundry service for a fee of €15 which we tried to use however come the following day, our items were still unwashed so we asked for our items back.||We probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again if we were to...
