Melydron Apartments — Hotel in Preveza Municipality

Melydron was our holiday destination for the past 2 years and we will definitely go back again as we cannot recommend it enough. A small and intimate complex of rooms and apartments, that opened in 2020 ( actually, we were their first guests in August 2020). It has amazing view as it is located by the seaside and every morning, we would enjoy breakfast (and their home make cookies and Greek coffee) while looking at the peaceful sea. It is 15-minute walk from Preveza downtown and in the evening you can have a nice walk to enjoy delicious food at their local taverns in Preveza port. It is a family run business that has a lot of experience in hospitality and thanks to our lovely hosts who recommended and helped us book many activities while we were there, we enjoyed a great trip to see dolphins in Amvrakokos Bay(the bay in Preveza), we rented a boat in Lefkada island, which is 1h drive from Melydron and we discovered all the secret nice beaches in the area. It is also 45min drive from Parga, one of the loveliest resort in the North Western side of Greece so you can go for 1 day trip there. All in all, if you want to avoid the craziness of Lefkada island that becomes crowded during summer and you want to enjoy a true Greek experience with decent prices for Greeks not tourists, Preveza is the best destination for you and Melydron is a must as the rooms are clean, new, you have a lot of facilities and the most important, the wonderful hosts will definitely make your stay there an amazing experience and you will...

Just had a 5 night stay here with my daughters family , grandson and son.What a special place this is. Beautiful views , serene location , very relaxing. The apartment has everything you need and more. Lovely super king size bed, gorgeous shower and toiletries are great, even left a dental kit and sewing kit if needed! Lovely little snack bar and the pool is an ideal size for the little one and family. Great little garden to relax in and take in the views too. The marina is about a 20 minute walk away and loved the rural sites on the way, including donkeys, chickens goats and sheep in the fields and sometimes in the road 😂. There are a few lovely cafe bars nearby too. If you walk the other way it’s about a 30 minute walk to the unspoilt Alonaki beach which has facilities too. The reception and bar staff are great and nothing is too much trouble , even allowed us to stay in room a little longer later than checkout to keep baby cool , everything was spotless and sheets and towels changed every other day , thanks to all for a wonderful stay, will definitely go back. We loved our stay at Melydron apartment. We stayed for a week and it was such a great find. |The staff were so helpful, kind and welcoming. Bringing us water when sitting by the pool and snacks when we were having evening drinks. |The room was clean and tidy. The room gets cleaned every other day and the outside is getting cleaned every day. There was even a welcome gift from the staff when walking into our room. |I loved the decor and it was just luxurious every where you looked. |There was a small selection of snacks and hot food you could buy from the bar but you also have a working kitchen in your apartment. |There was a good choice of drinks and was reasonably priced based on the area. |The apartment is on the beach and a 20 minute walk to the marina. The staff can ring a taxi for you however we chose to walk. In the marina there is a great choice of restaurants. We hired a car for couple of days and drove to some amazing places such as Acheron springs and Roman oduem of Nicopolis, if you can hire a car we would recommend it and there is parking outside Melydron Apartment.
