Forest Villas — Hotel in Sami Municipality

It is my last day here at Forest Villas (Villa Harry and Villa Theo) and I am sitting on the veranda overlooking our swimming pool with the backdrop of the Kefalonia mountains in the distance and it is glorious. My family and I have just spent a week here using both villas and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are clean and well-equipped with high quality furnishings and fittings. And when I say well equipped I mean the owners have to gone to great lengths to ensure all needs of their guests are catered for. There is great attention to detail with little toiletries left for you and first aid kits, sewing kits, night lights. The children had inflatables for the pool left for them. The owners could not have been more helpful and attentive to us during our stay and even cooked us some lovely food for us to enjoy one evening. The villas are set down a private drive so you feel completely safe and secluded. The grounds are immaculate and well cared for. There is a cafe/restaurant at the end of the drive on the main road and there is a supermarket within a 10 minute walk. A short drive away is Agia Effimia, a beautiful town with lovely cafes, restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets. So this villa is ideally located. Truly lovely villas so cosy and comfortable, the perfect place to chill by the pool, enjoy drinks as the sun goes down overlooking the views or get the bbq going and sit out under the stars. HOST - Helpful, friendly, warm, personal, responsive, professional with exceptional attention detail. A big thank you to Vaso and her son, Peter, who made our stay at Forest Villas on the Island of Kefalonia a memorable one. We stayed for 9 nights with four adults and our nearly one year old grandson. VILLA - A superior quality 85 m2, two bedroom, two bathroom (child friendly) Villa, situated in an idyllic setting with mountain backdrop, private covered terrace, and swimming pool. The accommodation with decent WiFi connectivity was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed both inside and out. Features included a well equipped kitchen, socialable open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room with access and views over the upper breakfast terrace and pool. A secondary terrace for alfresco dining included an adjacent built-in barbecue area; which made for great evenings. We’ve just returned from our second holiday at Forest Villas, and again, cannot fault it. Beautiful, high quality, immaculate villa in a stunning location, with a lovely pool and BBQ area. The hosts Vasso, and her sons Peter and Theo, are some of the nicest people you’ll meet and will go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay - from leaving some food essentials and wine in the villa, to arranging a hire car and meeting us at the airport. Special thanks also to Vasso’s sister for the delicious home cooked meal one night, and to Vasso for the ice cream.
