Encanto Village — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

Review for middle of July 2023, a 3 night stay with family:

Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Resort is newly built (2020) and architecture / design si well thought of usage and maximizing every thing available.

Lot of resort is quite big, there are very old olive trees, there are 2 parking zones, a lot of grass, poll area (toddlers and adults) and all the windows of the rooms are facing Vest, meaning morning sun does not wake you up but sunset gets you a pleasant vibe.

Our booked apartment has air conditioning in every room, sustainability built in with sensors in all doors/windows not to waste energy and leave air conditioner on while a window was open. Beds were confy, kitchen was newly furnished, induction stove, microwave, small fridge with freezer and necessary utensils (except a frying pan for morning eggs 🍳). Cleaning the house and common areas like sun beds and pool, watering the grass and trees were activities performed daily. Although quite remote location, 900m away from city center and and additional 200m from the sea it was exactly the oasis of calm I looked for. No noise from neighbors or from the traffic.

Bathroom was big enough, self closing toiled lid, shower area had no door so some water could spill in the whole bathroom (especially from the kid) but the fllor drain system worked just fine.

The terrace had a built in sun shade roof, morning birds were playing songs while we ate breakfast.

I really liked that everything offered here was already include in the paid and advertised cost: parking, pools access, safe in the room, Nespresso coffee pods for the kitchen coffee maker, daily cleaning, daily clean towels, toiletries. WiFi had 2.4 & 5 GHz bands available, impressive coverage, TV was present but came to relax and never used it.

Payment accepted by card also contactless or tap to pay. Will return for sure.

An Unforgettable Stay in a Dream Location!

We had an amazing experience at this apartment! The location is ideal, just a few steps away from the beautiful beach and the vibrant center of Potos resort. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable.

The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel at home from start to finish. Daily cleaning, fresh towels, and toiletries added an extra layer of comfort and luxury to our stay.

Another remarkable aspect is that the apartment is equipped with air conditioning in every room and sensors on the windows and doors to prevent energy waste. We were also impressed by the modern kitchen amenities, including the Nespresso coffee pods.

To top it all off, the view from the window was stunning—pools surrounded by olive trees made us feel like we were in a true paradise.

The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, offering both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Be careful with this hotel, it is a scam! On pictures and description has 2 infinity pools and but they out of service on low season. Basically 2 empty holes in the middle with some lounge chairs around. You pay to use amenities but they are all closed. It doesn't say that anywhere while booking. Hotel is open for booking with closed amenities! Moreover is it is inappropriate to list a hotel with amenities that are out of service. The worst was when I mentioned that people should be informed and his reaction was that he has no intention to even write down on description. On pictures looks much better than in reality. No reception, you enter to a basement to check in. Manager has bad attitude and said to go to beach instead of apologising. It is far from good beaches and if you can not use pools to lounge...
