Icon Suites — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

We had been to Tassos before and loved it. We decided to do holiday in Tassos again. After doing some research on the internet, we liked Icon Suites. We had previously stayed at a hotel on the northwestern side of the island. This time, we decided to choose the southwestern side of the island. We actually didn't have much of an expectation. The hotel should be clean and close to the sea. We planned to go to different beaches (such as Marble and Aliki, which we had been to before) during the day and have dinner out of hotel. But the moment we entered in the hotel, we encountered a wonderful ambiance. First of all, the smiling face and warm welcome of the receptionist Dimitria made us very happy. The hotel was simply magnificent and far beyond our expectations. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and functional. There was a coffee machine, a kettle and even a “fly repellent” device in the room, which is not available in many 5-star hotels. Everything was thought of and all the materials used were of very high quality. You fill out a form for breakfast and the next morning breakfast is brought to your room. Everyone has their breakfast on their balcony or in front of their rooms in a special, separated area. the breakfast, an amazing and satisfying breakfast is served. The hotel has its own restaurant, many guests come from outside for dinner. We said we would have outside in the evenings, but we had all our dinners at the hotel. Besides these chef in the kitchen, he is very successfully. The food is extraordinary both visually and in terms of taste. We gave it 5 stars.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Especially the liqueurs such as lemon cello and gum mastic liqueur served after the meal were a very nice touch. In addition, the entire staff was smiling, respectful and helpful. I would also like to mention the sea and the beach; the hotel is right by the sea and has its own beach. The sea is very pleasant, neither too cold nor too hot. The beach is completely sandy. The beach is so beautiful that we did not feel the need to go anywhere. I mean, we received great service for 5 days and had a wonderful holiday at Icon Suites. Icon Suites made me fall in love with Thassos. I can’t imagine choosing any other place instead of this boutique hotel. We spent almost 2 weeks there and here is what you should know:

they have a unique architectural concept, the heart of the hotel (terrace, pool and cocktail bar) is surrounded by the bungalow-like rooms; the sandy, calm and serene hotel beach is literally 10 seconds walk from any of the rooms; the restaurant, Epistrophy, is unrivalled in taste, presentation and diversity – do yourself a favour and try their entire menu. They are Greek fusion excellence! the cocktails are a MUST – they have taken their own interpretation on classics and gave a hint of Greek flavour which makes them truly ICONic, just like the music they play at the bar; if you go to the beach, order smoothies and Greek coffee – thank me later! the rooms are spacious, quiet and impeccably clean, shower water pressure is excellent, high quality textiles and incredibly comfortable beds; the parking lot is across the street, highly recommend using it; all furniture and furnishings are top notch in design and quality; you will be delighted by the lavish flowers and palm trees all over the property; breakfast is served on the private terrace of every room – delicious and cute.

The staff is the most heartwarming, dedicated, hardworking and loveable group of people. It is very rare to find such synergy in a professional environment. Like many others, they are just doing their jobs – but they do it in a way that makes every interaction a true delight. Thank you for all the joy you infused in our holiday!

Exceptional Stay with Unmatched Service – A Hidden Gem!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Icon Suites for 8 nights in July, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I’m someone who usually prefers to explore new places and rarely repeats hotels, but this is one exception—I would return in a heartbeat.

The moment I arrived, I was captivated by the perfect view that set the tone for a serene and relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is ideal: it offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle, yet it’s close enough if you want to venture out and experience the local attractions.

The service was nothing short of excellent. A special shoutout to Eleni, Dimitra, Victoria and the entire staff who were incredibly friendly and always eager to assist with anything I needed. Their warmth and professionalism truly made my stay memorable.

Dining at the hotel’s gourmet restaurant was a highlight of my trip. The master chef delivered top-class dishes that were not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. I especially loved the stuffed calamari, grilled feta, homemade fish roe and the pistachio risotto. Every meal was a culinary delight. The cocktails were also exceptional, with the Icon Tiki being a personal favorite!

In summary, my stay at Icon Suites was calm, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a high-quality, relaxing vacation with top-notch service and cuisine. I’ll definitely be back!
