We've been visiting Thassos twice a year for the past nine years, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience we've ever had.
Chaotic Service: The staff seemed completely disorganized; no one knew which table the food belonged to.
Rude Server: While taking our order, the server abruptly turned away mid-conversation to chat with a colleague for about five minutes. She didn’t offer any apology for the interruption.
Forgotten Orders: Out of the eight items we ordered, three (possibly four) were forgotten.
Out of Sequence: Our main dishes were served before the starters.
Misplaced Dishes: Two of our dishes were delivered to the wrong table. The server didn’t even ask if the dishes were ours, just placed them somewhere and left.
Excuses, Not Apologies: When we inquired about our missing food, the only response we received was, "The kitchen is too busy; we have 200 orders ahead of yours." This was clearly a lie. A simple apology would have been much more acceptable.
Long Wait for the Check: After requesting the bill, we had to wait over 20 minutes to receive it.
Mediocre Food: The food was decent, but not memorable, and the portions were small.
Uncleared Plates: Despite finishing our starters, the dirty dishes remained on our table, leaving us surrounded by clutter for the rest of the meal.
In short, don’t waste your time here—it’s...
Read moreIt wasn t at all a pleasent experience. The food was ok, not as good as expected but we had to wait around 30 min for the food to come. Hier are a lot of injured cats and for the people that love animals it s really hard to order food and look at a hungry/injured cat while eating. There are dogs allowed and for the whole 2 hours i heard barking non stop. The lady also putted her dog on the table and no one said anything to her but if you tried to feed the cate you were getting bad looks. The cats were running all over the place. The staff wasn t so polite as need to be in a restaurant. My advice, go to another restaurant if you can. I clearly won t return hier. My mother has an angelic heart God bless her and she was crying on her birthday because of an injured cat that was looking onder the tables for food. You were also get a bad look from the staff if you feed them. We decided that we should come hier for dinner because it looked nice, a very bad choice unfortunately. We love animals but if you keep them around ur bussines then find a place for them and take care of them. It s just heartless to not feel like that. I tried to feed a cat and one of the staff just came and pushed her with his foot. I don t find this normal at all. Don t go if you think this behavior is normal. If you don t care, then you are just the...
Read moreI recently visited this wonderful restaurant located right next to the beach. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with the added bonus of being so close to the shore, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and inviting environment.
The service was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially when my father was choosing a fish dish. The waiter took the time to explain all the available options in detail, which was much appreciated. However, it’s important to note that the restaurant tends to get quite busy, and if you decide to dine here, be prepared for a wait of around 40-50 minutes for your food, as it can get very crowded.
The menu offers an impressive variety of dishes, and there’s something for everyone, though I’m not sure if there are options for gluten-free or vegetarian diets. As for the food quality, it was excellent. The meals were well-prepared, flavorful, and every time we’ve visited, my entire family has enjoyed the dishes we’ve tried.
When it comes to pricing, I believe the restaurant offers very fair prices for the quality and portion sizes.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good food in a beautiful location...
