Booked this hotel for a short stay of 1 night. The location is very convenient for everything you will need. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. The room that was given to us was on the first floor and it was really the smallest room that we have stayed in a hotel. But this was not problem at all.Everything in the room was perfectly clean, the bed and the pillows were very comfortable.Air conditioning was good, and the free wi-fi provided, was ok.We liked very much the color combination between the walls and the furniture,a detail that someone would not consider important, but we found it very relaxing.Bathroom was also small but very clean. The only negative point was the traffic from the main road outside, which sometimes was really loud.Maybe a replacement with better quality soundproof windows would ease the problem.Generally,we were absolutely happy from our stay there, and definitely would prefer Argo for a future short...
Read moreHotel Argo is in a really heart of Volos, and can be a smart, budget choice, if you spend one or two ninghts in Volos. ||Nothing special, but the staff is kind, room is clean, location perfect and wifi works well. ||I travelled alone, so I got a single room, which was a really joke. The room size was not more than 10m2, and the bathroom was the smallest that I have ever seen. I dont't understand why do they punish the solo travellers with this kind of rooms, while I pay almost the same price, like a couple. Read moreThe reception staff was disappointingly unprofessional and rude. It is truly a 1-star hotel and is not even cheap. Bad ratio between quality and price; it was very expensive given its poor service, tiny old bathroom, weird smell, and lack of sound isolation. You could hear noise from the street and the other rooms. There is no elevator, so you need to climb stairs with your luggage with no help from the staff. ||The receptionists made no effort to accommodate our needs and they are clearly unsuitable for the hospitality business. There are far way better options in the city at the same price of higher quality. For us, it was an emergency stay of only 2 nights. Impossible to stay longer. Worth 15 EUR per...
