We found this camping last minute and intended to stay for one night. After the first night, we decided to remain for 6 days and make the tour of the island from here. Few highlights:|- it's really close to the see (few minutes walk), with beautiful view to the Turtle island|- the whole place is full of beautiful olive trees and the camping lots are terraced, so search for a nice place to see the seaside from your tent if you are the romantic kind|- there are free of charge beds close to the see, as well as hot shower right on the beach (the beach is stoney and wild, but that's the place specific and charm)|- nice place for snorkeling, too|- toilettes are clean and you can find hot water anytime|- they serve cooked food every night, really big portions, fresh and with very reasonable prices|- the owners are really nice people and pet-friendly||I would recommend more garbage bins through the location and a bit more light in the evening. ...
Read moreOne of nicest organized campings in Greece . The location is on a hill that descends into the sea, there are many nice options to pitch your tent (or park your camper) and walk just a min or two to jump into the water. The owners were incredibly nice and accommodating. It's hilarious that some people have complained about the poor service. This is a campground, not a 5 star hotel. The taverna is excellent but you will wait a long time, enjoy some drinks and conversation meanwhile. The facilities are clean and there is running water and electricity throughout the camping. The guests were mostly families from Austria and Germany, which might not be for everyone. And lots of campers from northern Europe that, for me, disrupt the views and the feeling of being in nature, but unfortunately you'll find that at organized campings all over...
Read moreMuch more than expected, the most adorable place I have been accommodated ever. The camp is wild, you can really enjoy the nature - plenty of olive and coniferous trees, goats outside the camping that you can hear and sometimes see, friendly cats and wonderful garden. The tent places are big so you have enough self space. Many of them are with view of the island :) There is dinner prepared every evening and one of the hosts himself sits next to you and narrates the menu like a fairy tale. The food is delicious, homemade, reminding of my childhood and cheap. We were in a hurry each time not to miss it. There are also vegetarian options every evening. The hosts and all the people taking care of the place are awesome! In short - it is easy to feel home here. I would definitely visit Zante again because of...
