Tavern Finale — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Very very authentic and great Greek tavern! I really don't understand why one review here said it is not a traditional Greek tavern with high price. What I experienced with my vegetarian friend is totally on the opposite. The foods are so great and all are home made with fresh ingredients (we talked with the owner, and it is obvious that the sheep cheese is home-made, and the red wine too). And the best is the grilled aubergine with potato paste on the top. Super super! The best aubergine I and my friend ever had!

The other foods we ordered included Mousaka (for myself), grilled paprika and grilled garlic bread with tomato are all very very tasty and fresh-made. We really enjoyed this dinner here, and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others (we have stayed in Zante for 5 days and tried many restaurants) .

Mr. Giannis himself welcomed us with a warm smile and genuine kindness, immediately making us feel right at home. The food, lovingly cooked by his wife, was absolutely delicious — honest, hearty, and full of love. Every bite felt like a return to our roots.

The view from the taverna is breathtaking — the Bay of Keri and Marathonisi stretch out before you, offering a rare sense of peace and serenity.

It was one of the most beautiful moments I’ve had. I was reminded of what it means to be a good person, to live simply, and to offer true hospitality.

Probably the best food you can get in Limni Keri! The owner is personally involved in the place! He recommended what we order, mentioned this is homely food and what a Greek would eat… His recommendations are spot on - right - the food was fantastic! Awesome salad and homemade bread (offered free to us), tzatziki, Pastitsio and amazing meat with onion stew - the flavours 🥰 am drooling as I write this… He held the tzatziki plate vertically and got a reaction from us…thick and did not budge a millimetre. A tad off the town and rightly off to the finale of the road. Worth the walk back since one is too full! 6/5...
