Do not belive the 5 stars reviews of this place wich are probably fake!! This is a property located in a beautiful spot, the beach is amazing , however the magic ends there. We booked 3 double rooms for us and extended family, we wanted to go to a quiet spot to relax and chill. From the beginning the owner approached us by whatspp to make clear the hotel policies about not getting any food or beverages into the property, a fair warning, it was nothing out of the ordinary until his wife called us also to warn about the same thing and before entering the property the person in charge also warned us about it AGAIN with a much more menacing tone, it became annoying at that point, specially when we didn’t have any food or beverages with us… as soon as we entered the room she began to explain that you cannot leave the air conditioner on while you are not in the room or they will (kindly) turn it off for you, so if you want to go back to a nice cool room after spending the whole day in the scorching heat this place is not for you. This hotel does have WiFI but they won’t give you the password, apparently it is just for staff and people they really like, but not for you.
The vibe of the people in charge is that of a cell keeper, their attitude far from welcoming and they make you feel like an intruder inside of “their” property, like you are not paying for it. It is not necessary to explain by that time we really wanted to run away from the place and would have done that if not for the $750 we paid for the two nights….big mistake.
The food is sub-standard and overpriced, I highly suggest eat somewhere else in town, the paella we had was salty and had pork in it(which paella usually doesn’t have) and one person in our party was alergic to pork, would be nice to know in advance, the price of the paella per person was roughly $20 per person, beverages not included , not worthy at all. The service at the restaurant was awful, the servers didn’t write down our order and messed it up, bringing some extra items we didn’t order and forgetting others.
Be aware to bring your own beach towels, you can’t use the towels they have in the bathrooms on the beach, they will rent you towels to go to the beach for about $2.00 per day, this is was also not advertised in their site. We ended up buying new ones for $2.00 at the near by town.
Long story short, this is a tourist trap, overpriced, under serviced, an awful experience overall. We learned that many places near by are very similar at less than half of the price of this place and with a much more welcoming atmosphere, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to book this place unless you like to be mistreated, lectured and taken advantage of....

Read moreHello, so about review for hotel. I'd give it 1 star. Cleanliness 1 (trash found in bathroom, shower not clean) Location 3 ( to far from town and they offered no help to get to town. They need to have transportation for those without a car) but it's beach front and that was only positive! Title: Absolutely not as advertised Review: As much as I love a beach getaway, I'm sorry we chose this hotel. When we first arrived they wouldn't even let us into side door. We had to give our name and they took forever to find our name and reservation. It was hot and dusty on the road. They should have greeted us and had us wait in the shade as she looked. There was no reception! No real welcome as we arrived. It looked like a young 16 yr old who took us to our room. The only people we saw was this very young girl and a maid. We never saw the owner! The room was hot and she didn't know how the AC worked. Our room was very hot! She called maintenance to turn it on. Very odd. Then the room! It's TINY! And the bathroom door is a sliding glass door slightly frosted so it's not clear, but you can still see who's doing what in they bathroom! Very awkward if your sharing a room with friends! And the only restaurant had extremely slow service and poor drink making skills. It was the same girl serving us and a cook. She would disappear or lock eyes with her phone screen and completely forget about us! The service was so slow even if we were the only ones there! Food was so basic and over priced!
There is no lazy river in the pool area. Even though thier photos make it look that way. The pool is ok. It is so isolated from town or any other restaurants. Their drinks were not good, food average/poor and no manager on site, no reception and very poor service. We will not stay here again. This was very expensive and the quality we got for the price was horrible. I travel to the beach often and due to their false advertising we chose this place. I hope other travlers are better informed after reading reviews. And owners make some serious changes. Also, beds are hard as a rock! Pillows are old. It was a very disappointing stay. They need to lower their price, make a nice welcoming reception area, put hammocks on the beach ( not hidden away behind their restaurant!)
Do yourself a favor, avoid this place until place until management lowers prices and gets more help. Very...
