Porto Bello — Hotel in Sololá

decent for the price we paid but didn’t get the room we paid for. the room has a brick wall that falls apart and as you’re in bed little pieces of brick fall on you. if you’re lucky like me some will fall into your eyes. there’s curtains in the room to hide the unfinished/ storage areas. the shower curtains aren’t long enough and after one shower the entire bathroom floor is covered in water. The wifi cuts off every few minutes and have to wait till it’s back up again. as another reviewer said the hotel is a bit more deteriorated than the images show. It definitely has the potential to be a beautiful hotel but the rooms need help and the outside needs more cleaning. it just feels like a lot of areas were never finished or...

I stayed there from February 27th to March 6th and had the best stay ever. I had a hammock outside my room, with the best view of the lake and the property. The owner Rafa, his son Pablo, and the rest of the employees were incredibly helpful and accommodating. It felt more like a family rather a business. The property dogs Mia and Bella were also a highlight. Will always recommend this property and have the best memories at the pool, hammock, and of course being able to walk down to the lake. The room itself was huge! On my last day I had a bunch of errands to run and Rafa and Pablo took me everywhere, it was the best unexpected walking city tour!...

A wonderful place, quiet, with direct access to the beach to relax or, if yiu are interested to take a swim in one of their 7 swimming pools. It has a recreational area with swimming pools, many of them, and some swings, tables and chairs indoors and outdoors. We stayed two nights and we are delighted with the attention, the breakfastwas ok, the kindness of the owners...
