Hotel Boutique Los Pinos — Hotel in Copán

This is a new hotel and is located in quiet residential area. We chose it specifically because it looked nice and was relatively close to the bus stations. We also needed some down time so Netflix rated highly in our criteria as well! It delivered on all these fronts as we had a nice room, comfortable bed, hot showers, it was only a 10-15min walk to the Sultana Bus station and we binged on Netflix! One of the staff could speak a little English, so that was helpful too. The main downside that we encountered was that there were not a lot of food options nearby and there was no kitchen built yet to prepare your own meals. That said, they do have plans to build one in future. There isn't a central filtered water station, however you receive 2 bottles of water. Our family stayed at this wonderful hotel for over a week! Loved it! Great location in a really nice and quiet neighborhood. Loved the pine tree forest with green grass reserves on both sides of us! Primero cancelaron nuestra reservación de dos noches, pero pudimos resolver y quedarnos una noche. Hay personas trabajando y el hotel no ofrece ningún confort para no incomodar al huésped. Estaban trabajando en la ventana de mi habitación y tuve que cerrar las cortinas para tener un poco de privacidad; a las 6:00 pm escribí a la recepción para saber a qué hora dejarían de trabajar, porque estaba taladrando, cortando cosas con sierra eléctrica y actividades con mucho ruido, ni saludaron y solo dijeron que a las 6:30 pm, les comenté que quería descansar un poco y dejaron el mensaje en visto. Terminaron de trabajar hasta las 8:30 pm sin ninguna preocupación al respecto ni ofrecer alguna disculpa o explicación. La cortina del baño tiene moho y las paredes están sucias en algunos lugares.
