Garden Hotel Budapest — Hotel in Budapest

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff (köszönöm!) In a lovely quiet district (Zuglo). The best wifi I have ever had in a hotel anywhere in the world. Spacious room. A good price. A 5 minute walk from the tram line (Budapest has possibly the best public transport in the world). Unlike so many hotels these days, you can open the windows. Open them wide! Fresh air in a hotel room, it's a great (and rare) thing.

The problems were tiny. I will list them here but they really did nothing to detract from our stay:

The room wasn't completely ready for us when we arrived late at night (we had told them we would arrive late): no toilet rolls etc The curtains were only a couple of microns thick, as a result, the room was brighter than the surface of the sun at dawn. We booked for a room with a double bed but instead got 2 single beds pushed together.

Strange hotel: we arrived in the afternoon, nobody was there, door locked. After some time a lady showed up, but she did not speak english or german, and she didn't know about our stay. She phoned someone, who, via phone, talked to us and the lady and tried to arrange everything. Finally got our room, was nice and clean, but we couldn't lock the door from outside because they had no key for it. Afterwards we realized that it could be a hotel which letts rooms by the hour, because there was a pricelist per hour at the reception. We felt a bit stupid and took it with humour - after all we had a nice stay with some complications. (check-in and out, cash only,...

Mi 2 szer voltunk már ezen a helyen de csak 5 órára Egyszer szobában egyszer apartmanban Amikor elsőnek mentünk a recepciós egy kicsit érdekes volt vagy csak szar napja volt vagy nem tudom amikor másodjára mentünk akkor más recepciós volt és nagyon rendes volt energetikus és mosolygós A szoba az szép volt kitakarított viszont ami nekem kicsit furcsa volt hogy az ajtókat nem lehetett bezárni Ágyak tiszták padló tiszta fürdőszoba tiszta Az apartmanban viszont nem teljesen ez volt a helyzet és az apartman miatt kap csak 4 csillagot Amelyikbe mi mentünk ott a fürdő tiszta volt ámde volt egy folt a csap alatt ami nem tudom mi lehetett de vérnek látszott Emellet a csap ilyen fa szerkezetre volt rátéve amelyen egy nagyobb puffadás volt szerintem a víztől Emellet a zuhanyzó vízköves volt egy cseppet A plafon be volt ázva plusz az ágyneműn volt ilyen kissebb lyuk De összességében az apartman jobban tetszett nekünk mert zárhazó volt az ajtó és jobban el tudtunk ott lenni fogunk még ide jönni szerintem és megnézzük hogy milyen a többi apartman Aki szeretne egy pár órára vagy egy napra pihenni vagy mást annak ajánlani tudom Nem egy top szint nyilván de ár érték arányban nagyon megéri a felsorolt problémákkal együtt Voltam már drágább helyen ami sokkal rosszabb állapotban...
