Hotel Arany Griff — Hotel in Pápai járás

An old hotel in the heart of Papa and located opposite the towns main church (noisy bells) all day. ||||Room 103 was an uncomfortable room with hard beds and pillows with no support whatsoever there was no Aircon in the rooms and the outside temperature was approx 35 - 36.||||Stayed for 7 days and bedding wasn't changed during that time (luckily had 2 single beds so bed hopped) and my room was not swept or mopped for that period but a token gesture of bin emptying every two days was all that happened.||||the rooms are not provided with any kettles clocks radios or anything for that matter apart from a wall mounted TV with only Hungarian channels and cuts out every 15mins or so.||||the hotel has a bar which is also the breakfast area but has no TV no Music and the drink is surprisingly more expensive than walking outside.||||the ladies who work the hotel are friendly and will help in anyway whatsoever.||||the church opposite the hotel rings its bells every hour for approx 1 minute great at first but annoying after 2 days.||||after some research i discovered this was one of the most expensive hotels in the area and better providing hotels can be sourced for half the price which include kettles,aircon and small kitchenettes.||||i was also very very surprised to discover that breakfast adds an additional cost of 5 euros a day which was disgusting considering the already high price of this hotel and was a varied continental breakfast at that.||||overall this hotel has so much potential but is a long way off that due to a bad cleaning schedule and the limited facilities in the rooms and the bar area i really hope this hotels management team have a shake up and sort this place out lovely hotel building and great location just very badly run maintained and no room facilities||||i will not be going back there on my...

Organised like Fawlty Towers... The food and the breakfast is bad... The rooms are not very clean...|| ||Unlike Fawlty Towers they have the most popular nightclub in Papa in the hotel... Noisy... The only positive thing to say is that Hotell Griff have a room that is good for a large choir to work in... Sajnos (vagy inkább hála Istennek) odáig nem sikerült eljutnunk, hogy a szolgáltatásról tudjunk véleményt alkotni, hiszen egy csoportos foglalást (melyet kiadott ajánlat alapján foglaltunk le 36 fő részére) szó és minden jelzés nélkül mondtak vissza. Többszöri telefonhívás alkalmával sem tudtunk meg semmit a foglalásunkról, a “mit sem tudó” (gondolatom szerint mindennel tisztában lévő) kolléganő mindig visszahívást ígért a főnöktől. Ez sajnos egyszer sem történt meg. Mígnem a főnök (Szabó István) számát megtudva direktben őt hívtam és minden zokszó nélkül közölte, hogy az ajánlata nem érvényes, nem tudja biztosítani a szállást a 36 fő részére. Milyen ember az ilyen? Inkorrekt, alattomos, undorító magatartást tanúsít “főnökként”, “példát” mutatva minden dolgozójának. Kívánom a szállodának, hogy mielőbb megtalálja az okot arra, miért kerül lakat az ilyen vállalkozásokra. Az emberi tényező ebben a szállodában nulla értékű! Annyi nem volt az emberben, hogy jelezze ezt a döntését és csak hálásak lehetünk, hogy nem napokkal az érkezés előtt derült fény erre az embertelen magatartásra! Senkinek nem ajánlom, hogy ebben a szállodában foglaljon a pihenésére szállást!!!!! És mindent meg is teszek azért, hogy ennek a történetnek híre menjen szállodai és...
