Retro Panzió — Hotel in Pécsi járás

We took the cheapest room offered online and found it to be under the roof where it was extremely hot. The bed was very small -twin size (1,20m) - at best. The girl in charge was kind and helpful and gave us two fans which we had to operate throughout the night. The windows had no blinds or drapes to keep out the heat and light. The steps to the second floor are neck breaking, steep, narrow and uneven. The bathroom was ok but the shower was not sealed propperly. Therefore part of the bathroom was under water after use of the shower. The breakfast was meager, some slices of cheese, cheap meat and jam in sachets. Supposedly it takes 20 minutes to walk to town but we took the car. The neighbourhood...

The window frames were quite old and not sealed well which made the sound from cars passing by horrible. Feels like you are literally sleeping out on the street. If you ever decide to stay in this place, insist on a room facing the inside yard and NOT the street. The matresses were also terribly uncomfortable. I can see the effort that the owners put to keep the rooms clean. But please fix the windows!! Otherwise guests are not getting the basic thing hey...

Number 20 bus from the train station stops almost outside. Room was very nice with television (Hungarian only), fridge, shower and toilet which were very clean. The breakfast was barely adequate – continental and served so you couldn’t have any more. Spoilt by dogs...
