I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Blue House, and I can genuinely say it was an experience to remember. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality that immediately made me feel at home.
The stay itself was nothing short of wonderful. The rooms are comfortable, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully maintained—every detail seems to reflect care and consideration. Whether you’re there to relax, work, or explore, the space offers a perfect blend of comfort and charm.
What truly sets The Blue House apart, however, is its exceptional service. Every member of the staff was kind, attentive, and eager to help with anything needed. It’s rare to find such a dedicated team who clearly take pride in their work and the experience they provide for guests.
Perhaps most importantly, The Blue House carries a spirit that’s hard to put into words. There’s a sense of peace, kindness, and authenticity that flows through everything—from the atmosphere to the people who make it all happen. It’s not just a place to stay, but a place to feel inspired and renewed.
I wholeheartedly recommend The Blue House to anyone seeking a memorable and uplifting experience. Thank you for a beautiful stay—I look forward to returning.

Read moreMy friend booked a twin room for us but when we arrived the beds were stuck together! That was more than a bit disappointing but overall the place was clean except for the bedding which seemed a bit old/stained. The beds were ok comfort. The most bothersome thing was how loud the doors creaked and slammed. We didn't really get to use the kitchen area as there was a family who pretty much took over the downstairs area. The bathroom upstairs doesn't have a shower only bath tub and there is only the shower downstairs. I could have sworn we booked the room with breakfast but none was provided. Maybe we didn't but either way the ones who were cooking and having breakfast seemed to be the family staying there not the owners, unless they were the owners. It was a bit unclear overall. It was out first night in Iceland and I think this place was the worst one we stayed in I would not stay...
Read moreWe ended up staying in the 'yellow house' which was a couple of minutes away from the 'blue house' the house was basic but clean. Small bathroom with shower located at the front of the house which was shared, mostly not a problem however there was a larger family group that used it a lot (with the door open!?) so was a bit of a pest. Breakfast in yellow house was cereal only however you are able to access the blue house's continental breakfast which was really nice. The bed was one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in! And the room was kept nice and warm which was good as it was so cold! WhatsApp group available to join to tell you location of the Northern Lights (which can be seen from the garden!) Overall we had a great stay and we would definitely visit again! Thanks...
