HOTEL RAMCHARAN RESIDENCY, TIRUPATI — Hotel in Andhra Pradesh

let me set the context first - an excellent stay. I was extremely happy to be stayed at this hotel.I was able to access the restroom bare foot. you can understand how clean it is. otherwise usually I don't access the restroom without my sandals on. the staff was courteous, especially those whom you meet at the dining. 3 guys and 2 female employees and they take care of you like their family members.I respect them for what they do and their efforts should be thoroughly rewarded and recognized by the hotel management, since they are contributing more than 50% of the hotel's reputation. the room allocated to us was clean and tidy. we don't need to wander around for food, we get it served within the hotel. its pretty near to the alipiri toll gate where the security check gets done before we travel to tirumala. the alipiri bus stand is at a stone pelting distance, you can just walk and board the bus to tirumala. umpteen number of autos passing by, so that you can commute easily to anywhere within in Tirupati. what more we need.. :) all the bare minimums were met. one thing I noticed was that, we will not be offered the complimentary breakfast on the day-1, if we check in before 12pm, which makes sense to me. but you will be allocated a room even before 12pm based upon the availability with no extra charge.I was allocated a room at 9.30am.i had my lunch and dinner at the hotel itself during my stay and the quality of the good was pretty decent. those who expect more than this can opt to stay at a 5 star hotel :). lastly, Mr.Sunil who is the owner of this property should be thanked for maintaining it so well.i hope they continue to maintain the property the way they are currently maintaining, I will become the first repetitive visitor for them :) if they do so. the way I was treated by them made me to write such a lengthy feedback. hope it helps the other travelers, as well the hotel management to perform well. thank you guys,...

This hotel was not worth the pay. We reached at 1AM for the next day 4 '0clock Alipiri climbing. The room that was given to us was so good that, I regretted why I ever booked this hotel. The pillow covers were torn, and the bedsheets were wrinkled and spotty, with red marks and dirty. It was a used bed and room given without cleaning. When asked to change the blankets, the management were so reluctant and said we do not have extra pair of blankets. When asked to change rooms, they said all rooms are taken. When I insisted and persisted, they gave another room which was worst to the core. YAK! NASTY to even write this. Then after some fuss, they changed the bed sheets and no blankets. I know I came for Balaji's darshan and that is my agenda, so, could not keep fighting. I put my own saree and chunni as blankets to cover and continued to stay for two days, What hotel will charge the full price shamelessly. I asked for the morning manager and told him the ordeal of last night, that manager lied without even looking back that he had several nice rooms reserved EXCLUSIVELY for us. Shameless to core, I looked at him and asked for the owner. Now that owner lives in USA, so I cannot reach him. But know that you charged for no service. Money, Money Money is that matters to you and not service. I visited this hotel in November 2022, and found it to be a decent to good place to stay.||Booking : It would be better if you make an advance booking as rooms generally fill fast.||Reception : since language is an issue, the outright answer to any question regarding to availability of rooms is "NO" by some of the staff.|But don't be scared if you have booked in advance, you just might have to explain them properly and you will get your rooms.||Staff : found the staff to be helpful and active in helping with any kind of issue||Rooms : nice, cosy, clean, functional, spacious rooms with basic amenities like hot water, etc, please note there is no hot water kettle available in the room||Restaurant: a small restaurant which serves breakfast (complimentary)and dinner(paid and on pre order basis), at the time of my visit the restaurant wasn't serving lunch. |The restaurant serves pure vegetarian food, the food was good, however the breakfast menu used to be the same everyday. The kitchen is on the roof while the restaurant is on the first floor, so it takes really long for refills (sometimes they even tell you that food is over) and food to be served.|The restaurant staff also seemed to be rude.
